Crying for You

This is an old one that has been laying around for a while, but I never thought I'd feel like someone is worth this poem. Yet again, not a big rhymer, but here it is.

Crying For You

Now we're face to face

and I can tell you how much you're worth.

I thought you were the shit.

I thought you were always going to be there to help,

but how wrong was I?

You were never worth as much as I thought.

In fact you're not worth anything at all.

What do you get from thinking you're something you're not?

Let me tell you,

nothing at all.

That's all you are.

Nothing at all...

You can correct many things,

but nothing is going to change who you are,

or who you've been.

As hard as you try,

nothing will happen.

You should've never been wrong to begin with,

and now you're almost gone.

Now you have no choice of changing a thing.

Now you have no chance of making things right with the ones you've hurt.

I'd make you a favor and kill your time,

but I'd rather let time kill you.

You made me ache and hurt and now it's your turn to do so.

You're life will have its end,

and the tears I shed for what once was a good friendship meant nothing to you,

and now they don't mean a thing to me.

Now it's time, for my mind to be cleansed of you and your actions.

There's nothing I can do.

I might see you later,

but I don't want to see you ever.

The wound you opened is healing too slow,

and it might not ever heal.

It hurts as bad now as when I got it, but now that it's a good-bye for good,

it might heal into a scare.

I stay and stand with my head held up high,

whle you fall and lose with nothing to leave with you.

You should've never hurt anyone, maybe then you would've had a chance to stand with us.
