Time: 7:24amMatteo's POV
Matteo sat behind the dark wood panels of his desk. He sipped his coffee slowly, the very picture of calm and relaxed.
Vincenzo however, paced back and forth. The entire length of Matteo's office and rug looking disheveled thanks to Vincenzos' massive feet.
"Why are you pacing?" Matteo snapped at him.
"Because I feel like it? What's it to you bro?" Vincenzo bit back.
"This is my office. If you're going to continue to cut laps, I suggest you go do it elsewhere! Before I completely lose my patience with you." Matteo growled out at Vincenzo. He seemed to understand that Matteo was serious, and bailed out the door without a second glance.
Matteo resumed reading over the file on his desk, and clicking through the footage on his computer.
"I see you bella donna! You think you're going to get away with this? I'm gonna see you dead for this. No one fùcks with my mob!"
He then pulled out his mobile phone, and dialled a number, before shooting out rapid orders in Italian.
After he hung up, he ran his hands over the length of his face, then rubbed at some muscle knots in the back of his neck.
Why would she do this?
To family...?-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

Time: 8:00amDetective Jack Johnson's POV
Jack had thoroughly enjoyed each and every moment of his date with Leena the night before.
If he was really 100% honest with himself? He. Was. Smitten!
As he fought the daily peak hour traffic into the city to continue the murder investigation into Chidi Virginianson, his mind was cluttered with thoughts of Leena.
She was his... his girlfriend.
He was her first. First lover, first boyfriend. And if he had his way? Her last.
His thoughts rolled back to the night before. The way her body clamped around his fingers while having her very first "man made" orgasm. She was beautiful. More than that. Gorgeous!
Bluntly honest, a body most men would pay for the privilege of looking at, a sharp mind... and she was his!
As Jack parked his car in amongst the throes of the hustle and bustle of the city, he realised his thoughts hadn't been all that clean or pure about Leena while driving. And that had left him with a noticeable problem.
"Grandma's undies. The Prime Minister fucking someone. ANYone. Midget Porn. Come on! Go away already!" Jack pleaded with his erect penis. "I've got work to do, and you're in my way." Jack said with his head pointed down towards his lap, his blonde hair falling in his face.
After a few minutes, Jack was able to leave the car, and he walked slowly back towards his destination, his thoughts still on the very woman he had been thinking of the whole morning.-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
Jack arrived at Myer in Sydney's CBD, a few minutes after 8:30am.
Given that the store didn't even open for business until 9:30am, Jack was required to flash his badge in order to get in before they opened, to speak to the staff he was looking for.
As he headed towards the ladies clothing and shoe department, he caught sight of the two ladies he actually wanted - nay - Needed to speak to.
Pam and Susan.
As he walked over towards them, he could hear them chatting amid themselves, and couldn't help but smile in memory, of when he was here the last time, and saw Leena.
"Good-morning Goddesses! How is your Wednesday so far? Not even 2 weeks left till Christmas! Are you prepared? Are you excited?" Jack spoke to the both of them with a broad grin.
Pam spoke first. "Oh Hi Detective! I didn't expect to see you again so soon! What brings you back?"
"Didn't find your shoe-shopper?" Susan queried?
Jack chuckled. "No, no luck with the shoe-shopper I'm afraid. I'm back, Pam, because I was hoping perhaps you could tell me about who sold the shoes. Maybe I'll have better luck that way!"
