When I woke up Snow wasn't there. I smiled and then went to the bathroom to change.

After getting dressed I walked down to the main room. "Hey kiddo."Q said. I smiled. "Hello."I said sitting down. "We have some news."Joe said. I looked at him. "You know how you wanted to meet your real family."Murr said. I nodded. "Well, there was nothing about your parents, but your grandparents live in Texas. With the help of Jessie we were able to get six plane tickets so you can meet them and your cousin."Sal said. I smiled. "Really."I said. He nodded.
"We already have your bags packed. We wanted to tell you know so we could get on the plane in a couple hours."Sal said. I nodded. "Well, we better head. So we don't have to worry about traffic."Jessie said. I nodded and we walked to the van.
~
When we landed in Texas I couldn't believe it. I have family still out there. I smiled and we walked to a car that is going to take us to the farm where my grandparents live. I couldn't stop smiling the how time. "Here you go."the driver said. We climbed out of the van and we were greeted by four dogs. I smiled and pet them all. "It looks like they like you."a voice said. I looked up to see a kid my age. "I'm Alex. One of your cousins."she said. I smiled. "Emma."I said shaking her hand.
"Here let me let you with your bags."she said. I nodded and she grabbed my suit case. I grabbed my backpack and we walked into the house. "Grandma, they're here."Alex said. We brought my bags up to the room I was sharing with Alex and her sister. We then walked down the stairs to see a man and woman talking to the guys.
"Wow, you really do look like your parents."the lady said. I smiled and walked down the rest of the stairs. "Nice to meet you."I said. "You too and you can call us grandpa and grandma."the lady said. I nodded and hugged her.
"Now, You already met Alex. This is Ava, and Autumn."Grandpa said. I smiled. "Nice to meet you all."I said. "You too."Ava said. I smiled. It was weird how they all have hair like me too. Must run in the family. "Now, why don't you girls go and have fun outside."Grandma said. "I'm going to stay in here and read."Ava said. We nodded and ran outside leaving Ava and the adults in the house. "Come on."Autumn said.
She sat on a swing in a tree. I looked up at it. "Do you want to climb with me?"Alex asked. "I don't know."I said. "I'll help you."Alex said. "Sure why not."I said. She smiled and we started to climb. I was behind her so she was able to show me where to step and not too. We got up really high too.
"I think this is good."Alex said sitting on a thick tree branch. I nodded and sat on the branch with her. "It's amazing up here."I said. She nodded. "I bet you see good views in New York too."she said. I nodded as the branch we were on started to move under us. We both started to scream. "Emma, you see that groove in the tree. I want you to walk over to it and sit in it."Alex said. I nodded and walked over to it. I knelled down and was about to sit down. That's when the bark broke and I fell head first down. I was screaming my head off until I hit the bottom. Everything went black.
*Q's View*
I love these people. I'm glad Emma has people of her real family. "Grandma!"Alex yelled running into the house. I knew something happened. "What is it? I bet Q can help."Sal said. I rolled my eyes and looked at her. "It's Emma."she said. "What happened?"I asked. "I asked if she wanted to climb up a tree with me. We were sitting on a branch when it started to snap. So I had her move to a groove in the trunk. She was close to sitting down when it broke and she fell down the middle of the tree face first."Alex said crying. "So me the tree."I said.
She nodded and we ran out of there. The tree was so tall. It'd be a miracle if Emma lived after falling down that. I grabbed a ladder. "Joe hold the ladder."I said. He nodded and he held it was I climbed up. Good thing I work with the fire department a long time ago. I looked down the middle of the tree trunk. "Emma!"I yelled. I couldn't see her.
"Can you see her?"Sal yelled. "No, it's too far down."I said. He nodded and I climbed back down. I heard sirens go off. Fire men climbed out of fire trucks. "The trees to hollow for you guys to cut it down."I said. They nodded. "How do you know?"one asked. "I used to be a firemen."I said. They nodded and went to work.
~Hours later~
"Lift her up!"Someone yelled. It's been way to long. The guys and I walked closer to the tree as we saw her get lifted out of the tree and to the ground. It was really sad to see her like that. She has cuts all over her skin. Sal looked away for a little bit until looking back. A medic check if she was breathing. He stopped in his spot and looked at us. "She's breathing."he said with a smile. I took a breath of relief. "Alright, Q I think you should go with her. We'll wait here."Sal said. I nodded and climbed into the helicopter with some medics and Emma. I grabbed Emma's hand and kissed it. I'm glad she's still with us. I also can't believe that, that happened to her. I smiled and took a breath. Man this has been some day.
Guys I want to tell you that most of this chapter was an idea I got from a movie. It's called 'Miracles from Heaven.' It's a sad movie base on something real that happened. I do recommend it to anyone that likes movies base on true events. Here's a part of it for you guys to watch.
