After a week at our old house in New Jersey we had to come back to Diamond bar. As promised, christen and I decided to go out for lunch together, while Emma stayed at my mothers house. I got to the restaurant earlier then christen and waited. I ordered a coffee and Before I knew it people were coming up to me asking me for an autograph or a picture. I missed this, the fans. I miss soccer, the world cups. A couple minutes later christen arrived, and thankfully my fans understood.
"Hey there! Can I get a photo too?" Christen said placing her hand on my shoulder.
"Anything for my fans" I said
"Don't flatter yourself tobs" she laughed.
Soon the waiter came and took our order. I looked at christen and smiled, I really do like her. Not just because Alex said so or Karla. I like her. I liked christen, more then a friend.
"Like what you see or do I have something in my face?" Christen asked, then I realized I had been staring at her this Whole time.
"Hahaha don't flatter yourself press" I replied.
"So tell me, how was New Jersey?" Christen asked as we waited for our food.
"Well Our time in New Jersey was great. It was a nice get away, I thought Emma was going to hate it but she actually enjoyed it, we went out to eat and has so much fun, she really missed Kelley and Allie and even Karla, you know she didn't wanna come back to LA." I said drinking my coffee.
"I'm really glad you and Emma enjoyed that little get away time, it seems like it was well needed huh?" Christen asked sitting across from me. The waiter brought our food and we started eating.
"Yeah, Harry sends her greetings, and so does Kelley and Karla and even syd we ran into her at the groceries." I said before eating my food.
"Aw I miss them too, I haven't seen them in forever"
"Maybe next time you can come with us?" I asked looking at her reaction.
"Maybe." She said playing with her fork. "Tobin, Alex sent me a letter. In that letter she-"
"I know about the letter" I cut her off.
"Please know that I'm not here because she asked me too" she said looking at a me. "I have loved you even before Alex. I have loved you since forever. When I received the letter, yeah a part of me wanted to come look for you because she asked but Tobin maybe this is our time now? Maybe this is what we could have had ? I really care for you. I have loved you. I love you"
"Christen, I like you, a lot. This time with you has make me felt something for you. And it's not like a rebound thing. I really do like you and I would like for us to give it a try. I thought a lot about it, your so caring and I like that about you, you have such a kind heart and it motivates Emma and myself. I would like for you and me to maybe uhh" I said struggling to use my words.
I mean, christen has been with me for as long as I remember. Sure we might have some past history but could it be that we can make it work? Have something between us? I mean I do like her, I do.
"Hold up, are you asking me out?" She laughed. "Tobin Heath asking me out? Never thought that would happen" she said looking me.
"Would you like to go out with me? Like be my girlfriend?" I asked nervously. "I feel like a high schooler right now"
"It does feel that way" Christen laughed. "But yes, I would like to give it a try." Christen smiled.

"Mom can I have a friend over?" emma said coming into the kitchen.
"Depends who, love" I said cutting some vegetables
