Ebony POV
I woke up, not really in the mood to go to school today. Anyways, I was extremely late. I had an idea to call Selenia to see if she wanted to go to the mall. I put her number on speed dial..
S: Hola?
E: Hey, it's Ebony.
S: Quien es?
E: *sucks teeth* c'mon now! I was just wondering if we could go to the mall, but now I don't know if you're interested.
S: I thought you'd never ask! I needa get me new shoes! *gasp* oh! And I needa get these nails done! And I needa get my outfit for the club, cuz you know imma be all up on-
E: *snickering* just pick me up in about an hour. I quickly hung up, and ran to go take my shower.
I walked out the bathroom with my pink towel on, searching for an outfit that would definitely break some necks.
"Aha, here we go!" I said to myself. I decided to wear a white overall jumper, and a dark blue crop top to match with my Sport Blue 6s. I put my hair in a messy bun, and applied a tad bit of lip gloss.
A few minutes later, a horn honked outside. It was Selenia. I quickly ran downstairs, grabbed my purse, and walked outside. I got into the passenger seat.
"Damn, ma! Look at youuuu!," Selenia exclaimed. I gave her a look . I swear her ass looked way better than me. She turned the engine on, turned to radio up, and we were off..
Selenia POV
"You wanna meet the president, you gotta meet yo bang bro! Hella bank rolls, all them bank rolls ain't yours!", I sang along to Bang Bros by Lil Durk. I finally found a parking space at the Dolphin Mall. I swear that mall is always packed. Ebony and I walked through the mall's automatic doors, and at that moment we knew that every nigga in there wanted us.
"Don't you love the way they look at us?" I asked Ebony.
"I sure love the way their bitch looks at us!"She answered in delight.
"CUZ THEY CAN'T GET LIKE US!", we shouted at the same time.
"C'mon, I needa go to Champs real quick", I said. Ebony followed me into the shoe store.
"Hey, how y'all doin' toda-", the employee started. I don't know why he couldn't finish his sentence, but I went bout my business. All I need are my Jordan's right now.
Ebony POV
"Hey, how are y'all doin' toda-", the employee started. I gave him a look. I took a double take.
Omg. It was that nigga I ran into! Ohmygawdd!! I screamed inside. Of course Selenia wasn't paying attention, all she wants is to get her shoes, and be gone. The employee I ran into in school started walking towards me.
My palms were getting sweaty.
"Hey, have I seen you before?", he asked me.
I couldn't help but crack a smile. "Um, yea. We kinda..ran into each other yesterday."
I saw his name tag: Cairo.
His face lit up. "Oh, of course! I remember you...Bonnie, right?", he asked. I shook my head. "Just call me Ebony. It's my real name."
Ugh. Why did I just say that. I sound like a dumass. "Pretty name," he said,"just like you."
"Oh, so you flirting, now?", I asked playfully. He looked down. "I mean, you are though."
"So your name's Cairo?", I asked.
"Yup, yup", he smiled. Oh Lord Jesus, his smile.
"Excuse me?", a grown woman walked up to us,"do you have a size 7 in women?"
"Yea, sure. I'll be right with you, ma'am." I looked down at my shoes. "Hey, you wanna have lunch with me at the food court, later?", he nervously asked.
"When does your shift end?", I replied. Cairo checked his watch, a Rolex. "Umm, in about 30 minutes. You can wait that long, right?", he said. I nodded. "Well, see you soon...Ebony."
Cairo POV
Damn, that Ebony girl is fine! I hope my shift ends fast, so we can talk a little more.
Selenia POV
All I needed was to see Ebony's eyes, and that told me enough. "Oh Lord, what happened to you?", I demanded.
"His name is Cairo..he actually spoke to me, and he asked me to go eat with him at the-" "Your going googoo eyes for that dude you almost killed?", I bust out laughing. Ebony gave me a look. "Aye! We just RAN into each other. Always making things sound deadly.", she snapped. I cleared my throat. "I saw y'all, though! Practically undressing each other with y'all's eyes, and making love right on the spo-"
"Oh God, Selenia!" Ebony had her hands over her ears.
"Are you done?"
I nodded.
"Well, did you find the shoes you were looking for?"
I nodded again. I showed her the Carmine 6s. She got up. "C'mon, let's pay then."
