Chapter Six: Beatdowns

|Cairo POV|

I watched Ebony go to class. Damn, that ass huge! As I turned to go to class, I saw Chris walking up to me.

"Aye, I needa talk to you, man", he said.

"Wassup?"

"Wassup with you flip floppin'?"

I scrunched my face. "Watchu mean?"

"One day you with Crystal, and the next day you wanna be with Ebony!"

I sucked my teeth. "I broke up with Crystal. And how you know Ebony?

"She called Selenia, asking her to pick her up, cuz she was walking on the streets!", Chris said. I looked down at my Gamma Blues.

"Hey, get to class!", a teacher yelled to us.

|Ebony POV|

I don't know why, but I kept thinking about Cairo all day. Did he really mean that apology, though? I stared at Selenia, who was fuming about earlier. She was mumbling in spanish. I shook my head. The bell rang, and I grabbed my books. "Aye, wait for me!", Selenia yelled after me. I rolled my eyes. "Hurry, I wanna go to lunch!", I said.

《LUNCH》

"There he go right there!", Selenia growled, pointing at Cairo. He was sitting at a table with Chris and some other dudes. "I'm gonna go talk to him.", I said, putting my books down at our table. Selenia gasped as if someone died. I shrugged and walked over to his table. My heart started beating faster and faster. I tapped Cairo on the shoulder.

He turned around. To my surprise, he smiled at me. "Wassup?", he said. I fiddled with my fingers.

"Can we talk somewhere...private?", I asked. "Sure!", he got up. We walked out of the lunchroom, and went to my locker.

"So watcha had to tell me?", Cairo asked, grinning.

"Well I thought about what you said earlier. I just wanted to say that I'm not any sort of girl, that you can play with", I started,"but I forgive-"

All of a sudden, Cairo's lips smashed against mine. He placed his hands around my waist. I had no choice, but to kiss him back. I instantly pulled away. "What was that for?", I asked. Cairo snickered.

"You know you liked it.", he winked. I rolled my eyes. "Kinda..", I replied.

"YOU BITCH!!", someone yelled from the other side of the hallway. I turned to see who it was.

CRYSTAL.

"She goes here?!", I yelled at Cairo. He nodded.

"Bitch, what I told yo ass 'bout my man?!", she snapped. Selenia was walking to us. She came just in time.

"Umm, who's this bitch? And why she yelling at you like that?", she asked.

"That's the bitch I beat, Selenia", I informed her. Selenia's eyes widened. She instantly put her hair into a ponytail.

"So YOU the bitch, huh?", she said, walking up to Crystal.

"Yes! This bitch is taking my man away from m-"

WHAM!

Selenia had slapped Crystal. Crystal fell back. "Shut the fuck up, you talk too damn much!", Selenia snapped. Crystal growled, and jumped on Selenia.

"Oh uh uh!!", Selenia said. She slammed Crystal on the cold floor. She winced. Students from the cafeteria came to see what all the noise was about. Crystal got back up, and punched Selenia in the mouth.

"Wrong move, puta!", Selenia barked. She grabbed Crystal's shirt and threw her into the lockers. "DAAAMNNNNN!", everybody cheered.

"Alright, alright! Stop!", I yelled, getting in the middle. Once Selenia starts fighting, she will not stop. Cairo ran to Crystal, trying to get her up. I couldn't help but get a little jealous. "Ebony, get the hell out the way, so I can finish this shit!", Selenia was huffing after every word.

"COME AT ME, PUTA! COME, WITH 'YO UGLY ASS! BITCH ASS HO! YOU CUNT! MESS WITH MY GIRL, AND IMMA GET MY BROTHERS, UNCLES, AND COUSINS ON YO ASS!!", Selenia barked.

Where are the teachers?!

Selenia freed herself from my grasp, and ran to Crystal. She jumped on her, and punched her in the face multiple times. Cairo pushed her off. "Okay, that's enough!", he yelled. Selenia slapped him in the face. I ran over to them. "Selenia, calm down!!", I snapped.

The principal was pushing everybody out of the way.

Why does he wanna come now?!
