Chapter Nineteen: Oh Baby!

"His name is Aiden Mateo Hayes." I said, kissing his forehead. My mom came. "I'm so proud of you." She said, getting me all emotional and shit. "He looks just like both of y'all!" She said.

"Except that he has his daddy's hair!" Ebony butted in, taking more pics. "You scarin Aiden with all the flash!" I snatched her phone away. "Gimme lil Aiden!" Cairo said, speaking baby talk. "You sound stupid as shit right about nyeeee!" I laughed.

"You always say that." He said. I rolled my eyes, and closed them. I needed a long ass nap..

I still believe this happened. My lil nephew is born. "Selenia sleep?" Chris asked. "She look like it, Cairo said. Aiden was getting his foot and hand prints. "She'll be okay." I said, stroking Selenia's golden hair.

I had stayed all week, helping out with Selenia and the baby. But damn, it's only been a week since she gave birth, and this baby already too much work! I was resting in a chair right by Selenia's hospital bed. She moved a little bit. "Baby?" She groaned

"Yea?" I answered.

"I love you man." She sais. "I love you more, babe."

"Waaaaaaa!!!" I JUST put him to sleep, too!

"See, Selenia? Look what you done did!" I said, holding Aiden. Selenia sat up. "Give 'im here." She said, holding out her arms. I gave him to her. "I think he's hungry." I yawned. Suddenly, Aiden stopped crying. I sucked my teeth. "Mann, this lil baby right here triflin!"

Selenia giggled. "Don't listen to yo daddy, Aiden. He's an ass." She mumbled to him.

"I heard that!" I laughed, handing her the bottle of milk.

"It was meant to be heard!" She said.

"Agagagagaaaguuua!"

Selenia gasped. "What happened?" I asked, getting panicked. "He spoke!" She said, all amazed.

"What he said?" I asked, shaking my head.

"He said he agrees with everything I said!" She stuck her tongue out at me.

"Babe, I made you breakfast.." Cairo's voice woke me up..wait hold up. I was with Cairo? I jumped. "Where are we?" I demanded. "My place." Cairo answered slowly, as if I was supposed to know. I squinted at nobody in particular "Umm did we-"

"Yes, we fucked the hell outta each other last night!" Cairo chuckled. I looked around. We sho did fuck the hell outta each other. Our clothes were all over the ground. The covers were spread everywhere. Some pillows had popped. Not only did the headboard break, but the whole bed broke too. I gasped. "WE did THIS last night?" I pointed at everything. Cairo chuckled. "You didn't remember, did you?" He asked. "All I remember was lil Aiden being born!" I squealed. "Yea, that too." Cairo nodded.

"So where was yo momma during all of this?" I gave him a stank face. "Business trip." Cairo answered. "She's always somewhere." I retorted. I got up to go take a shower. I ended up falling. "Ahh shit!" I winced. "What did you to me last night?!"

"I beat that pussy up like fight night!" Cairo smirked. "Real funny, real funny." I said, sarcastically.

"I love my lil crippled baby doee!" He yelled after me.

"Mhmm, then stop getting me crippled, and lemme walk!" I yelled back.

|Selenia POV|

Now I know what true love is. Staring into Aiden's eyes is that definition. He had Chris' eyes and hair. He had his nose, but he sho had my eyebrows! "Aiden Mateo. Aiden Mateo..." I kept repeating, making him dance with his arms. Aiden smiled a toothless smile, making me laugh.
