➡SATURDAY⬅
"Selenia! Wake up!" I nudged her. I was staying over for the weekend. "Shhh!" She said, still laying down. I rolled my eyes, and checked my phone.
It was ten o'clock. I got out of bed, and waddled to the bathroom. I got my hygiene out the way, and walked out with a towel wrapped around my body.
Selenia was still asleep. I tiptoed to when she was, and smacked her ass.
"Ah, shit!" She screeched. I giggled. "Getcho ass up!" I took the covers off of her.
Aiden started to cry. Selenia groaned, and got up. "Look watcho ass did!" She snapped. I held out my hands in surrender. "Hurry! I don't wanna be late!" I said, looking for something in Selenia's closet. I picked out a short black sundress, black Steve Madden heels, and gold Michael Kors earings. "Could you dress Aiden up, while I take my shower?" Selenia handed a whining Aiden to me.
"Awww, look at you!" I gave him a kiss. He blew me spit bubbles. He was just too adorable.
I slid his little pants on him, and his little white shirt. He laughed, which made me smile. Selenia walked out, a towel wrapped around her.
"Could you hurry yo ass up?!" I scolded her. She rolled her eyes, and went to her closet.
"Imma wear this!" Selenia held out the shortest black dress I've ever seen.
"Hell naww! This is a funeral! Not no twerkaton!" I snapped. Selenia laughed as I put Aiden down, and searched for a dress. "Here, put this." I sighed. It was a black pencil dress; not too tight, not too loose.
"Okay, well I'm done. Imma be in the car." I added. I grabbed the car keys and bolted down the stairs.

➡CHURCH⬅
|Selenia POV|
"Which church is this?" I asked. "First Presbyterian Church of Miami." Ebony answered.
"You said that shit like you know errthang!" I laughed. Ebony giggled. We enterer the church, and the first thing I saw was Cairo's casket. "Let's sit over here." Ebony pointed out. We sat close to where Cairo's body was. I had Aiden in his baby carrier. Thank gawd he was asleep.
|Ebony POV|
This shit made me feel uncomfortable. All these people were looking for Cairo's killer. I was sitting right there, among them. Cairo looked like he was asleep. I just wanted to touch his hand, tell him I was sorry. "You okay?" Selenia rubbed my back. "No.."I sobbed. "It's gonna be okay.." She said, wiping my tears away. "I mean, look at him!" I cried.
After a few songs, and people going up to talk about how good Cairo was, it was time to go.
I had cried so much, I used all of Selenia's tissues. "I just wanna see him one more time." I sniffed. Selenia sighed, trying to hold on to the baby carrier. She followed me to the coffin.
"Oh, Cairo!" I broke down crying. "I'm so sorry!" I repeated. I held on to his hand. It was cold as ice, just like my mom's...
"Ebony, get up!" Selenia whispered. "Why?!" I asked, lifting my head up. "Because she's here.."
"Who are you talkin-"
And there she was. Crystal. She was snickering, as if Cairo's death was a joke. I quickly let go of his hand, and wiped my eyes with the back of my hand. Crystal was coming over here. "Well, well, well!" She popped her gums. "Wonder why you're here.." She said. "What the hell you want?!" I snapped. Crystal shrugged. "Never seen you act this way before...why were you saying you were sorry, huh?" She snickered again. I gulped. Had she heard?!
