Hey!! I'm back! This is quite a short chapter, just a small scene I thought I wanted to add in. Enjoy and comment your thoughts below! ;))

(Roman POV)

I blinked slowly awake, the last remains of a dream fading away. I always felt disappointed when that happens. Where am I? I felt around myself. I was in a soft bed with gauze like covers that I quickly realized was mine. What was I doing here? I don't remember anything that happened last night, except that I didn't go to sleep in my bed.

Sitting up and propping up on my elbows and looking around, the familiar sights of the light blueish curtain waved slightly in the breeze coming from the open window. Birds chirped cheerfully outside. My wardrobe and small desk was in place, so why do I fell like something was missing?

Sitting up fully now, I noted the bed opposite me and next to me were still occupied, a mess of dark brown hair could be seen on the dark blue pillow. Soft snores came from the bed beside me.

I carefully, quietly, climbed down my bed, and walked over to the bed opposite me. "Pst, Logan. Logan!" I shook the lump on the bed gently. Soon, I could hear soft murmurs come from under the blankets, and a face appeared.

A hand came after, feeling around the small desk next to the bed. I pick up the black glasses on it and handed it to him. A yawn later, he sat up, and looked at me sleepily. "Good morning, Roman. Is there something wrong?"

"No, nothing's wrong, Lo lo. Its just, I feel, like, something's missing.." I shuddered out.

Logan had his 'thinking face' on, analyzing the room. "I feel it too, Roman. But I don't see what it could be." He answered, a slightly concerned look on his face.

"You really mean, you don't know what is missing?" A small voice came from behind us, and we spun around.

Six year old Patton sat kneeling down on his sky blue bed, looking with hurt and offended eyes at us. Logan cleared his throat, a habit he had picked up from Father when he was nervous. "I'm..sorry if I offended you, Patton. But, we really don't know."

Patton looked at me, but I shook my head sadly. Sighing to himself. He climbed down, and walked to a spot next to Logan's bed that I didn't notice before. It was big enough to fit a bed and furniture too..

"Where is Virgil?" he said, opening his arms wide. Logan and I were gobsmacked, not even noticing our baby brother was not in the room we shared.

Suddenly we heard voices murmuring outside, but slowly drifting away. We all looked at each other, and ran for the door. Opening it slightly and peeking out, we saw two shadows, one much taller than the other.

We ran out of the room, and silently chased after the shadows. Rounding the corner, we saw our father, King Thomas, standing next to Virgil. When I saw him, I immediately wanted to shout out his name, but Father kneeled down in front of him, and said something to him. Virgil nodded, and Father placed his hand on his shoulder for a moment, said something more, then got up and left.

After that Virgil sighed, and walked to a room that I have never seen in the palace before. It was distinctly, Virgil styled.

The door was a smoky black, with white and dark purple swirls to decorate it. He open the door and was prepared to walk in, but caught sight of us, standing at the corner.

Patton and I made a move to call out to him, but he simply walk into the room, gave us a final sad look, and shut the door.
