Ch-17: No one gets everything they want

Jungkook turns around and sees Luke coming and sit behind him.

"I'm jealous of what?"

"Nancy."

"Who told? Why would I even care about her?"

"Oh kiddo. If you are not jealous or anything then why is your neck mark visible?"

"It is?"

"It has been visible quite frequently after Nancy came."

"Don't talk stupid. That's impossible."

"*sigh*We will see."

Next morning:

Nancy gets out of the shower and changed into a comfortable dress. And do a side braid.

She starts to check her phone and then she heard a knock on the door.

"The door is open."

The door unlocks and reveals Luke. Seeing him a smile forms on Nancy's lips.

"Good morning, cutie."

"Good morning."

"I wanted to meet you yesterday night but you seemed tired."

"Yeah. I slept late at night."

"Want to go outside for a walk?"

"Sure."

Both of them walks out of the house and go to the side of the beach. The crystal waters touching Nancy's feet and it is a perfect fresh starting of the morning.

"You had fun with V yesterday night, right?"

"Yeah. He is really sweet."

"So, at least now you are not sad about being in here, right?"

"Why though?"

"You get whatever you want and you can be free."

"You never get everything you want."

"What do you want?"

"I just want to go back to my normal life and my family. Can u give me that?"

"I'm sorry, but u can't go back."

"You won't even tell me the reason why I'm staying here."

"I don't know clearly too. But as you are here, just don't be sad cause u can't escape even if you want to. "

"It's not that easy like how you are saying. I guess I will just take some time," after saying this Nancy got up and while she was going to walk away Luke grabbed her hand.

" Let me know if you need anything. Feel free and you can consider me as your big brother."

Nancy just smiled back at Luke and walked inside the mansion. And she passed her day while rapidly improving her hacking and gun shooting.

At night:

Everyone gathers for dinner together.

"So, how was your day, Nancy?" Luke asked while at Nancy.

"It went good."

"She is improving really fast in the gun shooting," Amelia told with glazing eyes.

"She is also having a blast with hacking," V also added.

"That's my buddy. Keep it up," scarlet told while patting her back.

"That's probably good but there is another good news too," jungkook told getting everyone's attention.

"What?"

"There is a party hosted by the Citrines tomorrow. And every one of us including Nancy is going."

"Wait. How am I involved?" Nancy asked them

"Come on. It will be fun." V insisted.

"But-"

"Nothing. You are going and it's final."
Scarlet told while stomping her hand lightly on the table.

"And about the partners of everyone-"
V was going to say something but jungkook cut him off.

"Luke and Scarlet, V and Amelia, me and Nancy. It's final."

"What?! And who decides it?" Nancy told while shouting a little at jungkook.

"The higher-ups. Nothing to do."

Amelia and V let out a long sigh knowing that nothing could be done. And Nancy just shot jungkook a death glare.
