CHAPTER 1

DA EUN'S P.O.V

Da Eun ah! I looked around the room to look for someone who called me. I saw So Yun, my bestfriend, waving at me. I signaled her to come to me and she did. She came to me with a huge grin on her face.

"Why are you smiling like a wierdo?" I asked not looking at her

"I'm excited" She said while looking for a dress

"About what?" I asked while looking for a sweater

"BTS is having a concert tomorrow" She said claping her hands in excitement

"Uh-oh" I whispered

"Please! Come with me to the concert! Please!" She said doing an aegyo

"Ani!" I shook my head

"Please!" She pleaded

"Ani!" I again shook my head

"Please!" She said clinging onto my arm

"Ani!" I said again

"Awwww" She gave up

"Fine!" I gave up as well

"Yehet!" She jumped up

"Hey! That's my line" Sehun shouted from the guys section of the store we're in

All of us laughed on what he said. We were at the mall buying some clothes before school started. I was with So Yun at the girls section and Sehun and Kris at the boys section. If you're thinking, yes, that Sehun and Kris. From EXO. Our moms were really close friends so the three of us really had a lot of time together. When we were done picking our clothes, we paid and wen out of the mall.

"This was a fun last day of summer hang-out" I said while walking on the sidewalk

"This will be a good memory" Kris said. Just then, So yun's phone rang. She answered it.

"On the way home...ne...arraseo" She hung up

"Sorry guys but I have to go. My umma is looking for me already." She said

"No, It's okay" I said

"I'll walk you home" Kris said

"No need. I'm fine" So Yun smiled

"A girl walking home alone this late at night. No way I'm coming with you" Kris said

"So Yun let Kris hyung come with you" Sehun said

"Fine Fine" So Yun said.

All of us bid our goodbyes and Kris and So Yun walked the opposite direction. Sehun and I walked to my house.

"Can't believe school's going to start again" Sehun said

"It's like yesterday was the last day of school" I said

"I hope we're classmates again" He said

"We were classmates since nursery. I see your face in class for 14 yearsand also when we're in 4th year highschool I'll see you. Eve in summer we're always together." I chuckled a bit

"You don't like that?" He said

"I do" I said looking straight

When we were a block away from my house, we heard glasses break, shouting and a lot more noises. I ran to my house and went in, I saw appa drunk and was talking or should I say shouting about umma.I started to pick up the broken glasses but a hand stopped me, it was Sehun.

"You might get cut, I'll do it" He said while getting a broom and a dustpan. I nodded and went to my father to talk to him.

"Appa! Hajima!" I shouted as I ran and hugged to stop him.

"Wae? Why did you leave me? Ashly! Wae?" He was very drunk. Ashly, she's my mother, she died last year but appa didn't accept it and beacame like this, a drunkyard.

"Yah appa!" I slapped him

"I'm here also! Umma left me as well! I'm even the one working for us. Ever since umma died, it seems like you were never there for me! Ever since that happened you never been an appa to me!" I cried and he froze. I guess he's letting everything sink in.

I went to Sehun and said that everything was okay and he should go home. He hesitated at first but he gave in. I wiped my tears and went to my room. I washed up and got ready for bed. I tucked myself in, not worrying about appa. A few minutes later, I drifted of to sleep.
