A/N: Now, ahem... *dramatic announcer voice* In no time, three years have come and gone... Ready or not, Goku and the others have a date with destiny!!

...

Tomorrow we'll be fighting the androids... Luna thought, a chill going down her spine as she walked out into the Son's backyard.

Chi Chi had helped her make a bath in the giant tub outside, leaving her a towel and some shampoo before disappearing to spend some time with her family before they went to sleep. Luna approached the tub, setting her pajamas on the grass before eyeing the steaming bath in front of her happily.

This is just what I needed... She thought with a sigh, looking around once to make sure she was alone before starting to disrobe. Luna hopped in the warm water, leaning against the side as she relaxed, looking up at the moon above her. It's almost full... She realized with a smile, loving when the land was bathed in a silvery light at night. For some reason, she thought about the night when she had come back, when herself and Piccolo had been standing under the moonlight, her arms wrapped around him...

Luna imagined what it would be like if he had held her back, embraced her not as a friend, but as something more...The Acaiian shook her head, sinking down under the water quickly so that just her eyes and the tips of her ears were visible as she felt her cheeks getting hot.

I'm such a pervert... She mumbled in her mind, chastising herself for having those kind of thoughts. Besides, I'm sure he doesn't see me as anything more than a friend... His people don't form intimate relationships... She thought, remembering a few of the things Dende had told her while they were on Namek. The last thing I want to do is make him feel uncomfortable around me...

Luna sighed, bubbles popping all around her before she sat up a bit more to get a breath of air. She leaned down, grabbing the bottle of shampoo as she started washing her hair before getting some well deserved rest herself. After a bit longer the water began to grow cold as Luna knew it was probably time she got out anyway. She stuck her arm over the edge of the tub, grabbing the towel on the grass before wrapping it around herself as she floated upwards in one swift movement. She flared her ki a bit, shaking the water out of her hair as it dried instantly, becoming a bit fluffier in the process. Luna landed on the grass, quickly slipping her shorts and tank top on before pulling her favorite sweater over top of them.

It's getting kind of chilly out here... She thought, hanging up her towel and grabbing her hairbrush before jumping up and landing on the branch of a nearby tree gracefully. She sighed quietly as she sat down, staring up at the stars before beginning the arduous task of brushing her mass of lavender hair.

Luna smiled as she combed out a section of her purple locks, her heart beating a little faster as she sensed someone behind her. She paused for a moment, both of them coexisting in silence before Luna decided to speak her mind, uncertainty lacing her voice.

"Are you nervous?"

Piccolo just made a sound of annoyance, frowning at her as she put the brush she was using down, refusing to look his way as she went on in a quieter tone.

"I am..."

"We've got no reason to be. We're all as ready as we're ever going to be after training for the last three years..." Piccolo said confidently, landing on the branch beside her as he stood there with his arms crossed, frowning at her as he noticed she still wasn't looking at him. "Luna..."

She finally turned his way, staring up at him with an unreadable expression as she thought about everything that might happen tomorrow...

People could get hurt... All the people I care about and all the innocent people on this planet... I can't let them down... Luna thought, gripping her hairbrush tightly as she struggled to keep her emotions under control.
