"Luna..."

Luna opened her eyes, seeing nothing but white as a figure began to materialize in front of her. A beautiful woman with long purple hair smiled down at her with warm silver eyes that she knew all too well...

"M-mom...?" Luna whispered, not believing what she was seeing. She ran forward instantly, throwing her arms around the slender woman as she felt tears escaping her eyes. "I've missed you so much!" She cried, hugging her tightly before the realization hit her.

"Am I... Am I dead?" She questioned sadly, looking up as a delicate hand brushed the tears from her cheek.

"No my child..." Celestia said softly, running a hand through her daughter's hair as she spoke, "There is still much you have left to do before we will meet again..." The older woman paused for a moment, choosing her words wisely as she knew she didn't have much time...

"It is your destiny to face great challenges in the future, Luna... You need to know the true power of our people... A technique that I was unable to teach you before my death that will help you in defeating the evil you will face..."

"A technique?" Luna replied uncertainly, "But I thought-"

"Yes, our people were known to be a peaceful race..." Celestia explained, already predicting what her daughter would say. "But it was not always so... Many lifetimes ago, during a great war, our people practiced a secret technique used only in the most dire of circumstances..."

Luna listened patiently as her mother went on.

"You must promise me that you will use these new powers with caution... Unlike your ability to heal that draws its power from your ki, this attack is formed from your life energy. If used for too long before you've had the chance to enhance your skills, it could kill you."

"I... I understand."

Celestia smiled, pushing her back gently as she placed a hand on her forehead. "Then receive this new power now!" She said happily, truly proud of her daughter.

Luna watched with wide eyes, her mother's silver orbs glowing brightly as her mind was filled with knowledge of this new ability. In a moment, it was over as she stood there in a slight daze from the amount of information she had absorbed so quickly...

"I have given you the all the tools you need to defeat the evil that cursed our world..." Celestia spoke, knowing it was time to go. "Now, return to the present... Avenge our people and life your life to the fullest..."

"Mom, wait!" Luna pleaded, staring at her mother fearfully as she stepped forward, not wanting their short time together to end. "Please don't leave me again-"

A finger on her lips stopped her protests as Celestia merely smiled at her knowingly. "I will always be with you Luna... And one day, we will meet again. Until then, take care my daughter... I love you."

Luna gasped as the white light around them intensified, forcing her to close her eyes and she was ripped from the memory.

"NOOOOOOO!"

"What the-"

Before he knew what was going on, Ginyu was sent flying as Luna raised both hands, blasting the purple man off her before jumping to her feet and catching her breath.

"Still got a little fight in you, huh?" He laughed, landing a few feet away before preparing to charge towards her again. A beep from his scouter stopped him as he felt the ground tremble, watching in surprise as the numbers started to rise at an incredible rate.

"What?! What kind of trick is this?!" He yelled, noticing that the girl wasn't even looking at him as small rocks started float off the ground around her. H-her power level... He thought, pressing the button on the side of his scouter a few times, just to be sure as he continued to stare. There's no way!
