제 07 장. The Return Of Childhood

Yoo-Jeong's POV

I slowly open my eyes when I felt something moves beside me. I look up to find Luhan with his usual smiling face and me sleeping on his lap. I instantly rose from my little slumber in disbelief as Luhan only did nothing but to eye me with curiousness, "L-luhan? W-what are you doing here?" I ask in disbelief while slowly getting away from him, but of course, not too obvious for him not to notice that I'm getting myself away from him.

"I'm here all along to accompany you. You fell asleep after you cried so hard." I widen my eyes in disbelief because of what he said.

"Is.. is something wrong?" He hesitated that made me lock my eyes on him.

B-but.. I thought it was Jong-In? Was it not him? Was it not him who was with me? Was he not the one who comforted me all along? He was not the one who told me to calm down? B-but why? Why?

Yoo-Jeong's spark in her eyes slowly faded and Luhan notice her behavior lately, "Is something wrong with what I said?" He repeated, trying to snap the latter from her little daydream.

Why do I suddenly feel.. disappointed? And what am I even expecting? I'm quiet sure that he's totally out by this time. He has no time to roam around at this hours.

A-and I guess.. by any chance if he hears me being like this, then why would he even care anyways? What is his concern towards me?

"Yoo Jeong-ah." I slightly jump on my position when Luhan called my name. I give back my attention to him as he only raise both of his brows, currently asking me that I almost forgot to answer.

"Oh uh.. I-I'm sorry. I just.. thought about something." I give him a reassuring smile.

"Why are you here? What are you doing here? Didn't you attend your classes?" I started to bombard him with questions. He relax himself for a bit on the tree, "First, I'm here because you're here. Second, what I did was to comfort you and all. Lastly, I did not attend the rest of my classes because I just can't leave you here alone when you were already sleeping on my lap."

I bite the inside of my cheeks. Is it really Luhan who's with me just now? Is there any chance that it was Jong-In?

What am I saying? Why am I even hoping that it was him? Aish! For goodness' sake! I almost forgot that he was even the one who commanded those three stupid students to slap me with a baseball bat! What was that even all about?! Was it the last warning?! What did I do?! I never done something wrong?!

"Jong-In." Yoo-Jeong muttered out from her mouth and Luhan heard her loud and clear, "What?" Luhan ask, completely puzzled.

"Jong-In's the one who commanded those three male students to batter me with a baseball bat!" I angrily bluttered out as Luhan instantly took himself off from resting on the tree after what he heard from me, "Baseball what?!" He yelps in disbelief.

I showed him my thigh, so as my back that are obviously now covered with blue with a mix of violet, green, black, and red blood.

Luhan's eyes are obviously wide as an owl right now. He slowly reach for my wounds and bruises and just by getting our skin touch together for just an inch, I immediately react due to the pain. "S-sorry." He apologized.

I heard him let out a heavy sigh before looking straight into my eyes. "Tell me who did this to you." I don't know why but I suddenly felt chills gulping down my system as soon as I heard the serious voice of Luhan.

"U-uh.. it's okay. It's not quiet serious I tell you. You don't have to bother—" I was stunned when he shake me by my shoulders. "Tell me who did this to you!" I slightly gasp when his voice suddenly increase.
