Applying for a Daddy

It was finally December and that meant Maddie and Lex would be at Ricky's apartment already. I got dressed in my nice white romper. It was a sleeveless, and very low cut but it had a skin colored piece of fabric to cover my chest. (I didn't think Colby would mind) it was also down past my knees so I was mostly covered. I chose to wear plain white vans and a few things of jewelry. I did more makeup than usual, even wearing lipstick. Which again I don't think Colby really cared as long as I wasn't overdoing it. I did my hair and hopped out of my room, running into the kitchen where Colby was. "Is this okay to wear?" I asked as I spun around for him to see. "It's a little revealing don't you think?" He said, concern spreading across his face. My smile faded a little as he watched me. "It's got a cover for it, it's a nude color...I can change if you want me too." I waited for a response. He walked up to me and noticed the nude covering, he had me spin around again to see if it moved or anything. He finally accepted it and kissed my forehead. "Where are you going again?" He asked.
"After you drop me off at Ricky's I'm going to the mall with him and Maddie and Liv, who you will meet today!" I said, my excitement coming back to my face. He nodded and grabbed his keys. "I'm glad you're happy, and I'm excited to meet your friends from Washington." He said as we got in the car, him buckling me in as usual. He kissed me and closed my door, making his way to the drivers side.

We made our way up the hallway and to my old apartment, knocking on the door. The door suddenly swung open to reveal Maddie, Lex, Ricky and Oli! I passed by everyone and hugged Maddie first, then Oli and then Lex. I turned around and pulled Colby to me, smiling wide as I turned to Maddie. "This is Colby. My caregiver."
I said, she turned to him with a stern look on her face.
"Do you make her cry?" Maddie asked.
"I'd never hurt her." Colby said as he looked over to me.
"Do you give her whatever she needs?" Maddie pressed more. I rolled my eyes.
"Always." Colby said as he pulled me to him.
"Have you pushed her into anything?" Which was Maddie's not so subtle way of asking if we'd had sex.
"Never." Colby said, holding me in place. My face went pink, I could feel it.
"Okay. Good." Maddie finally stopped and smiled, shaking his hand. "I'm Maddie, her best friend. I need to make sure she's safe. Hope you understand." I looked up to Colby. "Of course." He said, laughing a bit.
He turned to Ricky and said hey before turning to Lex.
"You must be Lex, Harper has told me a lot about you. She's told me a lot about all of you actually." He said as we moved to sit down on the couch.
"I'm Oliver, Oli for short." Oli shook his hand and smiled. Both Oli and Ricky were gay. I hung out with girls mostly but the occasional guy was always gay. Straight guys always scared me, as a little.
Oli came down for December and was leaving after New Years.

We sat around for an hour talking, getting to catch up and Colby getting to know everyone a little more. Then it was time to leave, we all walked down to the cars together and everyone jumped into Ricky's car except me. I was saying goodbye to Colby for the whole day. I hugged him, wrapping my arms around his torso as his arms wrapped around my shoulders. I smiled as I looked up at him, waiting for him to say something.
"Be safe, check in every thirty minutes. I don't care what you're doing, if you're even a minute late there will be consequences. You understand?" He said, his voice was firm and stiff. I nodded my head. "Yes sir, I'll set a timer for every thirty minutes and check in as soon as it goes off. I promise."
He then reached into his pocket and handed me 200 dollars. "That's your limit, okay? I don't want you buying anything with anyone else money. Unless it's a gift from them. Promise me?"
I smiled and put the money in my purse so the other wouldn't see. "I promise."
He smiled and cupped my cheeks, pressing his soft lips against mine. I still wasn't used to being kissed like this. So much passion, so intense, so much love. At least I hoped he loved me. We pulled away slowly and I got in the car, he walked back to his and waited to drive away until we had gone first.

"Sooooo, how's it going?" Maddie asked from the front seat.
"It's going fine. Mind your business." I joked.
"Oh come on, he really didn't want to let you go." Lex squealed.
"He's protective..." I said softly.
"It's true, he's known me for four months and still does that when she hangs out with me." Ricky laughed.
"He seems like he really care for you, Harper. I'm happy for you." Oli said, he was sat right next to me so I smiled and hugged him.
"He does. He's so much nicer than Harry or Daniel. Especially Daniel..."
