I heard some footsteps in my room but ignored them hoping they would go away. Nope. My brother ended up jumping on my bed making me bounce up and down then I fell on the floor. What a great wake up call. I don't live in the pack house because I don't have a role yet. If I shift and they want me to be a warrior then I will live in the pack house for more training but as of now I am a regular-ish teenager.
"If you want to make it till the rest of the day I suggest you run Cruz" I said calmly with my eyes still closed trying to ignore the pain in my head from the fall.
"If I didn't get you up, you would've been late" He muttered while walking out of my room. I swear he is going to anger me, my wolf will take over, then he will be begging for mercy. Well, once I shift in 3 days. Finally after contemplating my life I got up and headed to the bathroom for a burning hot shower. After getting dressed in my jeans, a white shirt with a green button up, and my black converse.
   
After I make myself look ok enough to leave the house I go downstairs to raid the fridge for something to call breakfast. After searching I found some yogurt and a Rice Crispy Treat. While eating my brother comes running down the stairs almost tripping. He acts like a 6 year old most of the time but we are like best friends. I'm really close to him when we were little we used to fight a lot. We still do but we are a lot closer than before. After almost face planting he grabs some watermelon and eats it for breakfast. Where he found that I don't know.
"Kissy you ready to go" He asks using my childhood nickname.
"Yup let's go Carro" I replied using his nickname. Cruz=Carro get It because carro is car in Spanish and cars can Cruz...never mind. My wolf Sola was complaining about waking up early when my brother started yelling at me to hurry up. I wonder If i will get in trouble if I bite just a little bit. Most likely.
   
He drove to school and I was met by my best friends Cam(Camilla) and Alex(Alexandria). They seemed to be arguing about whose wolf was going to be stronger. Alex is already 18 because her birthday was a month ago so she has been waiting for Cam and I to turn 16 so we can go running together. Cam looked like she was about to jump on Alex so I jogged over and stopped her.
"Hey guys, lets go to class. If I'm late I will get a lecture." We started walking to our first period together. A few people told me good morning or that they like my outfit. I just thanked them and continued walking to class.

My first period is Theatre also my favorite class. I love watching plays and musicals but not so much acting in them. I have gotten a lead role in one of the schools plays before and I practiced extra hard because I didn't want to screw up the whole play. I went to my assigned seat near the mid back. Sadly, I don't have my best friends or my brother in this class, only the three main bitches of the school. My wolf growled in the thought of them. speak of the devil, They walked in the class 10 minutes after the bell giving some bull excuse of having to go to the office. The only reason that worked because Monet's mom is the vice principal. She might not be the principle but Monet likes to act like she is and uses her as an excuse for tardiness. The teachers don't mark them tardy even though they know she is lying but because once her mom got upset and threatened to fire a teacher for ruining her daughters "perfect record".

The teacher announced that we had to do monologues for our projects and we needed costumes. I loved this project because he said we could do a song and I had a song in mind. Also this is a super easy project but there will still be people that don't do it just because. I am a A and high B student. I don't like having B's but it's better than a C. My parents definitely don't like me having B's because I get punished for it. Extra chores, no TV for a couple of days, extra training, or grounding. They are serious about good grades so I can get into a good collage which I understand. After day dreaming about the song I want for way too long the bell rings and everyone gets up to leave.

While I'm walking to my locker Monet and her minions come towards me. Me and Monet are not friends. We are just both cheerleaders and I've been to her house to practice cheer but we don't hang out unless it is cheer related. If you could call it hang out.
"Hey Calista cheer practice after school and don't bring your pathetic and ugly friends with you this time. I can't have them in my house or I could catch a disease." She hisses while still walking to the back doors to probably got make out with her boyfriend and skip class like usual.
"They are prettier than you will ever with all that surgery done" I say with fake happiness. She turns her head so she can see me, glares and continues walking outside. I get my books and head to my next class which I have Alex in.

"Ready for math?" Math is Alex's favorite subject but it's my least favorite next to history. My brain won't let me do maths for long before it pretty much shuts down and I get frustrated. I groan while walking in the door.
"Nope not at all" I sit next to her and we talk when Miles, Levi, and Pierre come in laughing and talking very loud. Most of the girls in the class swoon their gorgeous features. I admit they're not bad looking but they are all total asses except maybe Pierre. Pierre is probably the nicest one but he is still a total ass but in reality he acts nice to get girls in his bed. Alex growls while looking at because she was one of Pierre's victims. She was naive and young and when they woke up he acted like it was a huge mistake. She tells me how he practically pushed her out of his room and house.

When they decide to sit class begins with some notes then a packet we have to turn in by today. I am turning this in late because I am not fast at math so this will take a while but Alex can help me.
"How did I get 100.45 and you got 3.91? I suck at this." I slide down in my chair almost falling. Then proceed to bang my head on the desk loudly.
"Because you didn't divide." Alex has always been good at math the whole time I've known her since middle school.
I try the same problem about 3 more time till I write down a random answer and go to the next question(the teacher can tell if you cheat, I pretty sure she could be a witch). I have a system: get high grades on most of your papers so when you get a 70 on your homework your grade doesn't drop to a C. Also hide all homework from your parents unless they are good. Not like mine check my work only when they get an email saying I got a 79 on a test do they notice. After what feels like an eternity I finish the paper and turn it in. When I go back to my desk I plug in my headphones and listen to my music and doodle in my notebook.

One exhausting class later its lunch. My wolf howls in excitement of food even though I am eating it. I get to my table at lunch when Monet flags me down. Uh oh, This is probably bad. Monet doesn't want me to sit with her unless she has news. Alex and Cam look nervous but I assure them it's probably nothing. Taking cautious steps toward Monet I sit down in the chair across from her and Miles. She is pretty much sitting on his lap with almost no clothing on. How he is so strong willed I don't know. Actually they are going to go in the bathroom after lunch to do "stuff".
"What do you need me for Monet" I ask calmly not trying to provoke her. She glanced at Juliette and Messia in agreement then began sprouting her bullshit.
"Your birthday is coming up soon and you might find your mate. We have some guidelines about your mate:
1. He has to have some kind of popular reputation and he can't be a nerd or some weirdo
2. He has to be hot
3. He has to be werewolf that means no humans no vampires and no witches
4. If he isn't all of these or at least hot you have to reject him and find someone else. Am I clear?"
Is this bitch serious. She thinks  I will just do whatever she says and reject my mate if she doesn't approve. I looked at her like she was crazy because that shit that just came out of her mouth was fucking crazy. I started laughing like a hyena on cocaine and had to wipe a few tears. Damn that was great.

    Who the fuck does she think she is?!?! Just wait till your birthday then we will fuck her UP
Calm down Sola, we can't do anything rash or we will get punished but I am not doing what she says.
"Uhhh.....Yeah no. I will decide if I reject my mate or not and I won't so I am going to go back and eat if that was all you're going to say." I started getting up. She looked PISSED like she was going to eat me.
"You will do what I said or your off the cheer team and we will make sure your not popular. Everyone will hate you even your mate. You will be pathetic and worthless.Do you really want to go against me?" She sneered. I looked at her and gave her the most serious face I have ever used and said "Come at me all you want 'cause I don't give a fuck anymore."
