We entered the diner hand in hand waiting to be served. The waitresses saw us and whispered. I don't know what their problem is and I don't care. I cleared my throat trying to get their attention. I swear if the try something they might end up with broken bones.

"Excuse me, can we be seated please?" I put on my fakest smile trying to be civil.

"Oh of course! I'm sorry, booth or table?" She smiled while sizing me up. Can't I just have a nice day with my mate without some dumb people ruining it.

"Booth please."

she lead us to a booth near the back and handed us menus.

"I'll be your server today, I'll give you a minute to look at the menu." She quickly walked away as if we would give her some disease. I growled getting fed up with people. Forrest grabbed my hand calming me. I smiled at him and my wolf howled. We talked for what felt like hours until our waitress came back. She gave me attitude so I threatened her. That my friends, is how you get a free desert.

Next we went to the mall and shopped. He made jokes about getting me stuff from Victoria's Secret so I dared him to. To my surprise he did it and made me promise to wear one for him tomorrow. Great. Of course my wolf was excited and wanted me to try it on for him in the bathroom but I declined. She just called me a party-pooper.

"Hey you wanna go on the bungee jump?" He pointed to the trampoline with strings and ropes.

"Isn't that for kids? Will they even let us?" I raised an eyebrow waiting for his master plan.

"Hey is their an age limit?" I asked the girl working it.

"No. You wanna jump?" I nodded and pointed to Forrest. She got us strapped up and lifted the bungee cords. We were jumping and laughing like little kids. We had flip contest seeing who had the best tricks. He won so I had to buy him something. I'll probably buy him condoms as a joke but who knows.

We just left the mall laughing about a joke when he suddenly stops walking. I follow his eyesight and saw his father glaring at us looking ready to murder. Great. What else will ruin our day?

"Is this your mate? How come I've never met her?" He sneered at his son. His eyes shifted to me as he licked his lips. What the fuck!? He looked me up and down and Forrest noticed and pulled me close to him. He growled a warning to his perverted father. His father only laughed and waved him off.

"Now don't be hostile. Why don't we have dinner to celebrate my sons new found beautiful mate." He smirked and walked closer to us.

"Actually father we just ate and we're-"

"nonsense, bring her over to talk, I want to get to know her."

"I don't-"

"Sure, I would love to" I his my true intentions behind my plastered smile. He's hurt my mate and I don't take to kindly to that.
