Crowen looked around he saw a lush forest, as he looked around the forest nothing moved. There was no sound, not even the leaves moving in the breeze. Then the forest withered around him, the smell of decay filled his nose. Crowen went to walk away from the decay around him, but his feet didn’t listen to him. Then the world changed around him, now he was in a lively city. People rushed around to get to their destination, nothing was out of the ordinary. Then the sky turned a blood red and the ground shook violently. People stopped and looked at the sky, dogs barked, and children cried. Crowen just watched in horror as burning balls of fire fell to the ground. Then the world changed again he saw the makings of a face, soon he was standing in an ally Astraea stood in front of him. She smiled as her hair moved in the wind. Crowen smiled back, when a gunshot sounded. His smile faded when he saw Astraea holding her stomach Crowen turned around to see a shadow holding a gun. Smoke rolled off the barrel, Crowen wanted to attack the person make them pay and so he did. Forgetting about his injured friend, but before he could land a blow the shadow was gone. A loud bang sounded again, but this time Crowen felt pain surge through his body.
The once sleeping male jolted awake, his body had sweat dripping down it. Crowen sat up and took off his shirt and threw it to the corner of his room. He took note that his room looked like someone went through it. Crowen figured that it was Abyss just looking for something and got out of bed. He walked to the kitchen to see Abyss trying to make food.
“Morning sleepy head,” Abyss said not even looking up from her task.
“But it’s not the morning anymore,” Crowen pointed out as he went to sit at the island.
“Oh well time is something you humans came up with I really can’t understand it,” Abyss said as she put some cut up meat into a skillet.
“Why didn’t you wake me up?” Crowen asked. Abyss shrugged her shoulders and put some spices into the food.
“You don’t sleep much, oh and we have school tomorrow,” Abyss huffed making what looked like really tasty meat. She sat a plate in front of him it had meat, noodles, and broccoli.
“This looks so good!” Crowen happily said he grabbed a fork and took a bite. Abyss smiled evilly, “this tastes so…. bad”
“I’m still learning,” Abyss said with her hands on her hips. Crowen pushed the plate away and walked to the bathroom and spat out the food into the toilet.
“Anyway I had a strange dream,” Crowen said as he walked out of the bathroom wiping his mouth. Abyss had started to throw away the food she made.
“Well even if I say I don’t care I have feeling that your still going to tell me,” Abyss huffed.
“Don’t be so down about it,” Crowen said, “it was just strange it felt like I was really there feeling and smelling it. It felt so real”
“Oh really?” Abyss rolled her eyes, “I’m sure the smell was your room.”
“Yeah yeah,” Crowen sighed, “I guess you're right”
Abyss turned the faucet on and started wishing dishes. The sound of the running water mesmerised the boy’s mind and everything seemed to fade away. Flashes of red and green took his mind’s eye. The ground rushed up to meet Crowen…
