"What?" the boy asked in shock as he stared at the teen in front of him.
"I asked if you wanted to be fucking friends. Are you deaf?" Camdyn said with a roll of his eyes.
"No, no. I mean no not deaf and yeah I'll be your friend," he said with a smile stretching his arms out for a hug.
"Yeah, we're not hugging," he said as he stared at the small boy in disgust.
"Oh ok," the boy whispered looking down.
"What's your name?" he asked the boy.
"Kai," he said with a smile.
"What an ugly name," Camdyn said in distaste.
"You're mean," Kai said with a pout.
He didn't like being reminded how much of a nuisance he was by his only friend. It hurt.
"Well, you had three weeks to notice that didn't you," he replied with a smirk.
"I guess, but you need me," the boy whispered.
Just like he needed him.
"I don't need anyone," he said with a chuckle.
"Yeah, you do. You're lonely and no one likes to be lonely," Kai whispered before giving him a quick hug and dashing away.
"Fuck," Camdyn whispered as he stared the retreating boy.
He thought he hid it well.
