"I know. I need to tell Jacob, fast!" I said as I whipped out my phone. The text was along the lines of 'Stuffy, I'm in trouble. Big, big trouble.' As quickly as it was sent it was read.
'What's wrong little one? I'm in Pre-Calc.' He responded.
'Well, um, Julian just tossed me a paper with his name and number on it. My response was "Thanks but no thanks", then he looked at me with lust and an evil smirk. I'm SCREWED STUFFY!!!' I sent, wanting to rip my hair out.
'WHAT!!! A you are staying with me all day. No going anywhere without me. At least until you are seated in your car with the doors locked, ON YOUR WAY HOME. Got it?'
I was about to respond when I noticed the words all day. 'But you have football. I can't. Unless I stay and watch practice, but that gives him a higher chance to get me. And you'll get in trouble if you don't make it to practice on time.'
' Then you'll stay. I don't want him to get you either but with you in my sight will put me at ease. You'll just put on my shirt and my cap along with my aviators. He's not laying a hand on you while I'm around.' With that I blushed. I always loved how he cared, which is why I told him about my situation. 'Oh, and if he does, we'll blame the black eye and broken nose on falling down the stairs.' With that, I looked like a tomato.
"Mrs. Agreste, If you would please pay attention, it would be much appreciated.' Ms. Bustier called out.
My head shot up quicker than a bullet. "Sorry Ms. Bustier." I called out. I heard snickers from behind me. Whipping me head around I glared daggers at all the jocks, Julian included, then focused on the lesson.
Second period zipped by, and I must say College Algebra is hard. Lunch passed, then weights. All of which I was always with Jacob and somehow always about to be put through misery by Julian. Luckily, Jacob always saw what was about to happen and ripped him off me as he threatened to deck him in the face.
Football practice came and I was walking with Jacob toward the Boy's Locker Room. He told me to turn around as he slipped off his shirt and replaced it with his workout shirt. Saying it was safe he shoved it into my hands with his hat and aviators and shoved me into the Girl's Locker Room.
"Hurry and put them on." He whispered. "Meet me by the bleachers."
I did as I was told and threw them on while tying my hair into a ponytail and sliding on his hat. I peeked out the door to see if anyone was coming, once I was sure no one was I cantered over to the bleachers, and sat down on the lowest bleacher. As I sat Jacob jogged over, leaned over the bar and looked at me.
