We ventured to my suburban, Jacob taking shotgun and Marin in the back, started the car and headed off.
The drive was quiet except for the radio being on, but as soon as we entered the parking lot we looked back at Marin and he looked to be sick.
"Marin? You okay?" I asked tentatively.
"I don't know. I felt like this when I jumped before. But I would be careful." He replied.
As soon as the words left his mouth he disappeared. My eyes widened, as I turned to look at Jacob I saw the same expression that I was pretty sure was on mine. We looked back to make sure he was still gone. Once we were sure, peace came to my mind.
"Well then." I puffed.
"That was simpler than I thought it would be." He said.
"You and me both." I replied. "How about we go inside and grab something to eat. Sound good?"
"It's ten o'clock." He retorted.
"Pfft. And?" I shoot back.
"Fine."
"YES!!!" I exclaimed in victory.
We bought our food and sat at a table to eat. We talked, laughed and had fun, so initially, today was a great day.

I apologize for the abrupt ending, but originally this was a Sci-fi assignment for my English class, and my sister had read it and suggested I post it on here. Thank you for your support. Please comment if you would like more parts and when I decide to finish it if I should make a sequel. Thank you.
