I looked over at Marin, finding that he was staring at me.

"What?" I asked.

"How did you do that? Like talk to another person on that thing? And it's portable? Since when did that happen?"

"It's called an Iphone, and it's called calling? Have you ever heard of it?"

"We only have home phones. And flip phones. What is it?"

"It's called a touch screen." I answered. After that he was quiet up until we got to my place. I grabbed my things from the back as Marin stood as still as stone.

"Come on." I directed. I started moving and noticed that Marin wasn't moving. Frustrated already I turned around, grabbed his hand and dragged him through our mansion. I passed through the living room, careful to not interrupt my mom with her current designs. We passed the kitchen and bathroom until we entered my stadium sized room. Spacious as it is, it always felt empty.

I let go of Marin's hand and walked over to my desk and set my backpack and Jacob's mother's gift down. Once set down I looked back at Marin to see his mouth agape. I giggled, quietly, careful to not disturb his exploration.

"Careful Marin, don't want to catch flies, now do we?" I chuckled. With that, he shut his mouth. He looked around again, spotting the couch, he ventured closer to it and flopped down onto it. Not much longer after that Jacob came through my door.

"Okay. Who are you? What are you doing here? What's your goal? Are you trying to seduce my best friend?" He started. Of which one question hurt me, it's hard to hear your just a friend.

"Stuffy, calm down. I'm pretty sure if he were going to pull a Julian, he would have already. One question at a time. Please." I tell.

"I am Marin Dupain-Cheng, I have no clue what I am doing here, I have no goal but to get back home, and I am not trying to seduce your friend." Marin answered.

To my surprise no more questions were thrown out from Jacob's mouth. I looked at him and that's when our eyes locked.

"Okay," I dragged "I'm tired so I'm going to get ready for bed. Jacob, please set up the air mattress. I would like to sleep early so by tomorrow I can have a clear head."

"M'okay."

"Thank you." I replied.

"Be glad tomorrow is a Saturday!" He called.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever Brave Heart!"

I clambered down my little set of stairs and shuffled over to my dresser, opening my top dresser I grabbed my oversized t-shirt and some shorts. Closing the drawer, I limped over to my bathroom, locked the door and got changed. Outside I found the mattress set up and the boys talking. I giggled a little, went over to my closet and grabbed some of Jacobs clothes, of which are there for his escape. I grabbed a pair of shorts and sweats, along with two plain t-shirts. I turned around and tossed the clothes at the boys and walked away as I heard them bicker over which each boy would get.

What felt like centuries later, they hd figure out what each would use. Jacob taking the shorts and grey shirt while Marin held the grey sweats and black tee. Soon enough Jacob disappeared into the bathroom and changed, Marin following suit.

I looked down from my loft and chucked two of my plentiful blankets at Jacob and three at Marin, just in case.

"Good night boys!" I called. Two replies came afterwards, and as soon as they did I fell into a dreamless sleep.
