A cancer grows inside me
The stages of grief have begun
Denial hasn't come,
But I welcome the peace
I want to forget my impending death
I have more of life to live
More love to give
I need to make amends for past wrongs
Show affection to those I shunned
Laugh when I feel like it
Sit by the sea
And learn how to breathe
Before I accept this fate
And leave my loved ones to grieveB. Tallon
