I woke up later than usual, but since it was Saturday I wasn't too worried, until I realized I only had an hour before Serena was going to pick me up. I quickly jumped out of bed, and grabbed a change of clothes, then ran to the bathroom. My hot shower seemed to wake me up, so there was no need for coffee until I got to the bakery. After blow drying my hair I left it down my back, and decided to go downstairs to wait for Serena. I had about five minutes to kill, so I decided to text Tyler.

How's it going? After I hit send I heard a car horn outside, and saw Serena pulling into my driveway. I grabbed my keys and quickly ran out of the door I was thankful my mom had to work this morning, she isn't too particularly fond of Serena.

"Hey biotch." She acknowledged me as soon as I got in the car.

"What's up, ready for your last free weekend of eating junk food?" I asked she groaned.

"Please don't remind me!" She shuddered pulling out of my driveway, and making our way to the bakery. I checked my phone to see if Tyler replied yet, but he didn't which was a little weird and not like him, but I just brushed it off, and didn't put that much thought into it. After arriving at the bakery, and eating I checked the time it was almost two, and Serena was ready to leave.

"Are you sure you don't want me to just give you a ride?" She asked as I walked her back to her car.

"Yeah, I'm sure he's just being a jerk, and is going to pull up anytime now." I replied.

"Okay, text me later." She said driving away. I pulled my phone out of my purse, and tried calling Tyler again, but still he didn't answer I was starting to get worried. I waited around the bakery another ten minutes, before I decided to just walk to Tyler's house. His mom answered the door.

"Marley How are you?" She greeted welcoming me into the house like always.

"I'm good how bout you?" I asked hoping that while we were talking Tyler would either finally call back or even just show up, but after about thirty minutes of talking to his parents, and his younger brother Charlie, there was still no word from him, and I was really worried his parents could tell.

"Marley honey what's wrong?" Kate finally asked me I just looked at her afraid to say anything. "We can tell something is wrong, just tell us it's ok." She encouraged me.

"Uhm, well Tyler was supposed to go buy a new car today, and once he was done with that he was supposed to come pick me up from the bakery, but he never showed, and I haven't heard from him since last night. That's just not like him, and I really don't know what to do." I explained they sat there with shocked faces.

"He hasn't talked to you at all since last night?" Ray asked.

"No." I replied.

"That's definitely not him." They gasped then grabbed for their phones. "We're going to try and call the guys, and see if maybe he is with them." They stated I grabbed my phone to help as well. After a couple of hours of calling all his friends, his girlfriend Janelle, and his work still nobody had heard or seen him since last night. I was starting to feel sick, and my mind kept thinking the worst.

"Marley are you okay?" Kate asked noticing my fractured state. "Honey why don't you lie down, and we will wake you if we hear any news okay?" She said guiding me up the stairs, and leading me towards Tyler's room. I nodded my head, and laid down breathing in his scent on the pillows. Please let this be some kind of sick and twisted joke he is playing, or maybe even a dream? Perhaps when I wake up this will all just be a dream, and Tyler will be downstairs waiting for me. I fell asleep with the hopefulness that I was already somehow in a nightmare, and that when I woke up everything would be fine and back to normal, but in a small corner in the back of my mind I knew that I wouldn't wake up from this nightmare...
