Mrs. Gentle the guidance counselor made me tell her memories from Tyler and I's childhood, and friendship. I didn't want to talk about it about him, but she said it would help. I don't see how it possibly could, but she said if I talked about it a little bit she would let me go home, and after the embarrassment of first period there's no way I'm finishing this school day. Justin sent me a text he was here not even five minutes after I called. I guess after about three stories Mrs. Gentle was pleased, because she wrote me a pass to leave school. I took the pass to the principal's office, and the receptionist gave me a sad look as she read over my pass, then gave me the ok. I ran out of the school as fast as I could, and as soon as I saw Justin I ran straight to him.

"Hey what happened?" He asked looking me over to make sure I was ok.

"Everything was fine, and then I got a notification which was the official statement about Tyler, and I couldn't hold it in anymore, and broke down in front of my teacher, and she sent me to Mrs. Gentle who wouldn't let me leave unless I talked about him a little bit, and I barely got through that. How am I supposed to do this?" I sobbed. Justin held me, and let me cry as long as I needed to. When I finally calmed down a little bit he asked me if I wanted to go back to Kate, and Ray's, since everyone was apparently still there. I nodded my head, and he led me back to his car.

We arrived at the house, and multiple people were here, more than there were last night. Charlie ran up to me, and I picked him up.

"Are you sad too?" He asked his little face showed signs that he had been crying, and didn't really sleep either.

"Yeah buddy I'm sad too." I replied giving him a big hug he wouldn't let me put him down, so I carried him around with me.

"Justin said you tried to go to school today, I'm not even going to ask how that went seeing as you're here now and school started an hour ago." Ray stated when I walked in the kitchen, then he noticed I was carrying Charlie. "He's been asking for you ever since you left." He whispered walking away into the living room. I looked down at Charlie, and saw he was nestled in the crook of my neck, about to fall asleep. I started walking up the stairs everyone looked at me like they wanted to say something, but when they saw Charlie they stopped, and covered their mouths. I walked Charlie to his room, and tried to lay him down, but he held onto my neck tighter.

"Come on buddy let go, you gotta get some sleep." I tried to bribe him, but he wouldn't budge.

"Will you put me in Ty's room?" His little voice asked it made my heart fall.

"Yeah let's go." I replied leaving his room, and going to Tyler's room. His door was shut, which is new Tyler's door is never shut unless he was in there, but I know he wasn't I slowly opened the door, and looked inside Kate was there holding onto one of his shirts she looked up when we entered.

"I'm sorry Charlie wanted to sleep in here I can take him back to his room if you'd like." I said turning to leave, but she stopped us.

"No, please I hope he actually gets some sleep." She said trading places with me so I could lay Charlie down, as soon as he was under the covers he opened his eyes again.

"Will you stay with me until I fall asleep?" He asked I nodded and sat down on the edge of the bed. He closed his eyes again giving me time to finally think about everything. Then it hit me I ran out of that room so fast, and down the stairs everyone was staring at me, but I didn't care I burst through the backdoor and dropped to the grass clutching my chest.

"Hey, what's going on? Are you okay?" Justin asked coming up behind me, and kneeling down beside me.

"No, I'm not okay I'm probably never going to be okay again." I replied grabbing my hair Justin grabbed my hands.

"Hey, hey talk to me." He soothed I looked at him too scared to reply, what if he blamed me too?

"He called and asked me to go with him, but I already had plans. He wouldn't let me cancel them, but now he's gone. I should have gone with him, he could still be here!" I sobbed he grabbed me, and pulled me to him.

"It's not your fault, please don't put this all on you." Andy said sitting down next to me, then Natalie, Dylan, and Levi all came and sat down with us.

"If I would have gone though, he could still be here." I started.

"Or you could be gone as well." Dylan stated everyone gasped. "What you guys were all thinking it, I'm just the one who said it." He replied.

"You're right, but at least he wouldn't have been alone." The multiple theories going through my head were endless. My imagination was running wild, and nothing any of them could say to me would help. I knew that, and I'm pretty sure deep down so did they. Yeah they were all sitting here comforting me, and I appreciate them for being here with me I really do, but I know they are going through the same thing as me. I leaned into Justin's chest, and looked at the sky.

"Think he's laughing at us right now?" Levi asked I flinched, and Dylan hit him.

"Dude, just stop." He scowled. I grabbed my phone, and just stared at the screen. The picture was of Tyler, and I. I sighed, and put my phone back in my pocket. Everyone was watching me, waiting for me to go crazy again probably.

"What are they doing inside?" I asked trying to at least have a normal conversation.

"Well Janelle finally showed up." Natalie started I nodded "Everyone is going through pictures to use for memory boards for the service, do you want to go in, and help?" She questioned looking at me. The thought of walking into the house, and going through pictures of Tyler was a lot, and I knew I wasn't ready for that yet.

"No, I think I'll stay out here a while longer, you guys go ahead." I answered they gave me sympathetic looks, and each of them gave me a hug.

"We got you Marley, never forget that." Levi said as they all went inside. It wasn't until I leaned back into Justin's chest before I realized he was still out here with me.

"You can go inside too, I don't want you to think you have to stay with me twenty four seven." I stated he rubbed my shoulders.

"I made a promise to you that I wouldn't leave you unless you wanted me to, remember?" He replied I gave him a look.

"You don't have to take it seriously." I said.

"Yes I do, when have I ever broke a promise that I've made to you?" He questioned me.

"I guess you're right, but I'm just letting you know that you don't have to if you don't want to." I replied he wrapped his arms around me again, and I leaned farther into him.
