The quiet summer morning, peppered only with the sounds of birds chirping and the occasional rustling of trees, was a stark contrast to the chaos in Yun Hae's heart.
Quickly doing the math, she must have done hundreds of presentations leading up to this point in her career. She's worked with Fortune 500 companies, faced countless CEOs who looked down on her for being, among other things, a woman, but never, never has she ever felt this kind of trepidation before.
This was all so new to her, this second-guessing of her abilities, this fear of whatever outcome to be gleaned, this sudden lack of confidence, the weakness in her knees compounded by the fact that this was by no means an ordinary client presentation. As said client was in fact BigHit Entertainment. BigHit being her boyfriend's entertainment agency.
"This way, please. Producer Bang will join you in a moment. In the meantime, please feel free to start setting up and let me know if you need any help."
"Thank you, we'll take it from here." Yun Hae smiled politely.
Yun Hae motioned for her secretary and another assistant to begin setting up while she ran through the presentation with their country manager. She had worked all night to customize the presentation for BTS that she had gone a little overboard with heat maps and all that jazz, she might as well have handed the entire communications plan to BigHit for immediate implementation at the amount of work she put in the last 12 hours but she wanted to knock their socks off, make her boyfriend proud.
Speaking of, she hoped against hope that they wouldn't be sitting in on the presentation. She expected Bang Sihyuk, his team of lawyers and the marketing department but not her boyfriend and the rest of the members. Jimin also mentioned no such thing when they spoke last night.
Boyfriend.
She liked the sound of that. She liked the sound of his voice, his touch, the way he snuggled into the crook of her neck, the way he buried his face in her hair, the feel of his arms around her in the morning, especially waking up to his face in the morning and kissing those pillow-soft lips.
"Welcome, welcome!"
Yun Hae turned to face a smiling man who looked to be in his late 40s. Yun Hae bowed and extended a hand to Bang Sihyuk who eyed her appreciatively. "Thank you for having us," she said.
"No, no. The pleasure is all mine. I'm excited to see what you've prepared for us."
"Certainly, we hope our offerings are a direct match to your objectives."
A soft gasp from her secretary caught her attention and from her peripheral vision she saw Manager Sejin stride into the room. Yun Hae gulped. Sejin being here could only mean one thing.
One by one, BTS filed into the room led by Namjoon. From his position at the end of the line, Jimin stole furtive glances at his girlfriend who looked stunning, formidable and sexy all at once in her finely tailored suit. When Yun Hae told him that she wore suits when she met with clients, she wasn't kidding. Hair pulled back in a tight chignon, she had her glasses on and a familiar pair of red stilettos.
Damn this woman! How does she expect me to sit in on her presentation when she's looking like a five course meal? Jimin groaned inwardly.
"Meet my boys," Bang PD-nim with much enthusiasm and love that it made Namjoon chuckle as they bowed.
"Annyeonghaseyo, we are Bangtan Sonyeondan."
Yun Hae's team returned the bow. She clasped her hands together, took a deep breath and psyched herself for perhaps one, if not the most, nerve-wracking moment in her career. She looked across the room, acknowledging her audience, eyes briefly stopping at Jimin, who mouthed something in between 'fighting' and 'I love you' and began her presentation, blush creeping into the apples of her cheeks.

"Jagi!" Jimin cooed, wrapping her up in his arms as soon as she arrived. Taking her coat and bag, he led her to the kitchen where applause erupted as soon as she poked her head in.
"You were so amazing. I'm so proud of you. I can't believe we're going to be working closely together!"
"Why didn't you tell me you were all going to be there?!" Yun Hae demanded as she was met with seven sheepish looks.
"And scare you off?" Namjoon said teasingly. "You were impressive, by the way."
"I don't scare easily," she grunted and looked pointedly at Jimin, "you - you could've warned me though. I can't believe I'm contract-bound to you guys!"
Jimin pouted adorably and hugged her from behind, "Bang PD-nim left me and RM hyung with no choice. Forgive me?"
Yun Hae rolled her eyes. Jimin could really lay on the charm when he wanted to knowing fully well that Yun Hae found him irresistible.
"Don't push your luck, Park," she warned with not much conviction.
"There are other things I could push," he whispered hotly in her ear. Yun Hae cringed and elbowed him, embarrassment written all over her face.
"Admit it, Yun Hae," Suga drawled. "You're as whipped for Jimin as he is for you."
"Yeah, go have babies already." Teahyung arched his brows suggestively, earning a glare from Yun Hae.
"That's a good idea, Taetae!" Jimin perked up. Lifting Yun Hae bridal style, "What are we waiting for, jagi?"
"Put me down, Park Jimin!" Yun Hae wiggled in his arms. She turned imploringly at Jungkook, "Kookie, help," she said sweetly.
Jungkook, torn between his loyalty for his hyungs and his growing infatuation for his noona, looked guiltily at Jimin before lifting Yun Hae from his grasp and setting her gently down like the gentleman that he is.
"Sorry, hyung. We don't manhandle noonas in this household." Jungkook said as Yun Hae hid behind him, chuckling at the sight of a bewildered Jimin.
"But she's my noona!" Jimin groaned. "C'mon, Koo, give me back my girlfriend. I promise I'll behave."
