Tony POV

Tony was beaten. Badly. The teens were ridiculously powerful, even without the bonus of their powers. The fire girl was constantly aiming balls of fire at him, while the water girl was shooting jet streams of water at him. This other guy seemed to have control over shadows. One girl kept blinking in and out, disappearing and reappearing at different places. The others had some weirdly shaped swords? No matter what they were, they kept trying to shoot blasts of some sort of energy at Tony. With. The. Swords.

Just when he was seriously considering giving up, he saw Cap, Romanoff, and Barton off to the side.

"Need a little help?" asked Barton. Without waiting for an answer, he shot a bunch of tranquilizer arrows at the teens.

The next few moments seemd as if they happened in slow motion, almost like in a movie. All but two of the arrows hit their mark. Tony saw that the other two's targets, the brown-eyed girl and the teal-eyed boy, had managed to dodge them.

All of their surrounding friends collapsed to the ground as the sedative kicked in.

"Stand down! Drop the weapon!" Romanoff yelled. The kids smartly complied.

"Okay, you kids are coming with us." Cap said. "We're giving you two choices for transport. Either willingly take a sedative, or have a tranquilizer dart shot into your arm. Which, mind you, is not pleasant."

Tony expected the kids to immediately take one of the two sedatives that Cap was offering and drink it, but surprisingly, the girl was staring off into space, looking as if she was reliving something from the past. She was also rubbing her wrists. Weird, Tony thought.

Even weirder still, she was mumbling incoherent words along the lines of, "Neverseen...fire...sedative..." Her eyes that had once been filled with rage had pure terror shining through.

The other kid, the boy, seemed to notice and helped her to sit. What the hell was going on? Tony wondered.
