Days Without You

What Happened

  Jack started to worry when Baby Tooth flew faster as they got closer to Tooth's Palace. He had called for her to slow down but she didn't even look back at him, so he sped up. Once the palace was in sight he bolted forward. There where no fairies flying around the palace or leaving to collect teeth. In fact the palace was so dark it was like Tooth never was here.

"Tooth!" Jack yelled looking around the palace.

"Tooth?! Where are you?!" Finally coming down to the pond, he saw it was all black. Pitch black. He panicked and started to look around the pond hoping she wasn't in it. As he was searching he saw a body, but not a feathery body like he hoped for. The girl had long waist length brown hair with tints of blond in it. He walked over and bent down and turned her over carefully. The young looking girl had hair sprawled in her face and he lightly brushed it away, and what he saw was not some ordinary human. It was Tooth. Tooth was laying right in front of him with no feathers and no wings. Nothing to even prove she was the Tooth Fairy. If it wasn't for her face that he knew all so well, he would have never known it was her.

"Tooth..." Jack said shaking her shoulders a little, yet her body remained still.

"Tooth... Please wake up..." Jack's voice was full of concern. Tooth started to move some and coughed a little.

"Jack...?" Tooth said with a horse voice. Jack's face was immediately full of relief. He picked her up and hugged her tight.

"Are you ok? What happened to you?" She looked up at him with a small smile.

"I'm fine jack..." she sat up from where she laid, "Pitch... Pitch is back, i don't know how, he just showed up and let his sand go everywhere..."

"Pitch? But that should be impossible! We defeated him!" He looked at her and confused.

"We need to get to North, we have to warn them all before we repeat the issue we had last time." Jack nodded and gently picked her up bridal style.

"Well this is weird for me..." Tooth's face light up a red color as she blushed. Jack just smiled at her.

"Well unless you want to walk I think you should get used to it fast." He said smiling down at her. Tooth rolls her eyes and then wrapped her arms around his neck so when he takes off she won't fall off.

"I think I can do that." She said and smiled up at him.

"Hey wind take us to North!" Jack said and as soon as he finished they were lifted off the ground and heading to the Pole.

   North was busy with all his work with the toys. Directing the yetis to do the right colors and making sure they are all the right size and shape.

"Make them blue" North said smirking and turning to go on his way.

"Puta!!" The yeti said furious throwing his hands in the air before walking away to get the blue paint. North walked away to see what the elves were doing, but instead of elves he was greeted with Jack and a girl he didn't recognized, he slowly approached Jack with a confused look.

"Who is girl Jack? You know children aren't allowed here!" He whispered.

"She isn't a child North." Jack said setting Tooth down on the ground gently letting her get used to standing. She brushed her hair out of her face finding it annoying compared to her feathers, and looked up at North with a smile and a wave.

"Hi North.." Her little voice said and North's face filled with shock.

"How is she... This isn't possible for Toothy to be human!" He looked at her and Jack and threw his hands in the air. Finally without either of them saying anything he sighed and ran his hand over his face.

"Follow me to Hospital wing. I will see what I can find out." And with that he lead the way to the Hospital wing.

    Jack sat outside Tooth's room waiting for North to finish his results. Finally North came out holding his clipboard.

"Well how is she?" Jack said. North looked down at him.

" Well it sure vas Pitch who did this to her. The only issue is I don't think there is a way we can get her back to normal."  At that last comment Jack's face dropped. Sure he liked Tooth's human form but she doesn't have wings. She wouldn't be able to collect teeth or get to her palace. She couldn't even get around her palace.

"Can I go in and see her?" Jack asked. North nodded and stepped aside to let Jack in.

"Hey Tooth." Tooth looked up and sat up quickly.

"Hi Jack."

"How are you feeling?

"I'm ok." Jack nodded and sighed sitting next to her on her bed.

"I will find a way to fix you. I promise" Tooth smiled a little. And yawned.

"You should get some sleep." Jack said and Tooth nodded and laid back down and soon fell asleep. Jack got up and moved to look out the window and admired the moon for awhile and then found a chair and fell asleep.
