The creatures red eyes glared at Kamaria and it raised its scythe above her, readying to swing it down until Augustus spoke up. "Uh.. I tried to warn you, shes an aasmiar" the creature's eyes turned from an angry glare to a wide eyed panic as it quickly grabbed Augustus and sped off. Kamaria shook free from her frozen and tried to catch up with the two but they were too fast. She turned around and went home, she found Priest Hevanst talking with some workers of the temple, he approached her and whispered "Hi sweety, I'm dealing with a small issue right now, so you can sit up in your room or you can stay outside if you want, but you can't be in here, its a private emergency" he stated. Kamaria had never seen her father this serious, she nodded "I understand father, I will stay out here and tend to the rest of the garden" she said as she gave him a smile. Hevanst smiled back and returned to his colleagues. Kamaria walked around the garden, tending to a few flowers when she heard a "psst" come from the forest. It was Augustus, he was motioning for her to come over, Kamaria quickly stood up and jogged over to him "Augustus! What happened?" She asked. The skeleton moved aside to show the now, humanoid, creature from before. "I wanted my friend to get to know you, I told him you were friendly" he said as he motioned for his friend to come over "This is Neil, he was trying to protect me from you, he's scared of you because you're an aasmiar and he thinks you'll kill us" Augustus explained. Kamaria laughed innocently "I would never kill, unless it's absolutely needed. It's nice to meet you Neil! I'm Kamaria" she said. Neil looked between Kamaria and Augustus, "Don't over react like that, Gus. Its cool she's an aasmiar, I wasn't scared" Neil said as he pretended to blow it off and act cool, even though both Gus and Kamaria knew he was terrified. Kamaria laughed again "You guys are funny! Can I ask a quick question?" She asked as she looked up at the two large monsters. They both nodded and Kamaria continued "Why would you be scared of aasmiars?" She asked. Gus and Neil looked at eachother then back at Kamaria, "Aren't you aware of the power you wield?" Neil asked, Kamaria shook her head and Gus and Neil looked at eachother again. Gus laughed a little and sat down on the forest ground "This will take some explaining" he said.
Inside the temple, priest Hevanst sat with his two most trusted colleagues. Lesk, a paladin, and Renee, a Cleric of the Light domain. "We've come to warn you of some troubling news, Hevanst." Lesk began, "Yes, and maybe talk about moving you and Kamaria out of the area until we figure things out" Renee said as she took a seat across from Hevanst. "What's the issue?" Priest Hevanst asked as he looked between the two with a concerned look on his face. Lesk put down his sword and sighed before speaking "There seems to be a fog demon living in the forest surrounding this temple"
