As the wagon pulled through the town, Kamaria couldn't help but look out at the new sights around her. She saw shop owners selling their goods, priests and other religious folk making their way to church, Bards standing on the street playing music, and little children playing at a playground. "Wow.. There's so many things to do here!" Kamaria said with excitement, "Yes, but you know we probably wont be able to do much of them" Hevanst said as he tried to get comfortable in the moving wagon. "What? Why's that?" Kamaria asked him, "Well, remember what we talked about before we left?" Hevanst responded. Kamaria rolled her eyes "Father... I may be an aasmiar but you got to remember, I'm also human, and just like a normal human I want to go and have fun!" She said, Kamaria had never opposed her fathers rules before, but she wanted so desperately to go out. "Sweety, I respect your wish for exploration and independence, but the world works quite differently out here than in the comfort of our home and you're not prepared for that." Hevanst said to Kamaria, her response was to sigh and look back out of the wagon. The traveled for a few more mins until they reached the inn they were staying at. "Alright we're here" Renee said as her and Lesk jumped off the front of the wagon to help Kamaria and Hevanst grab their bags. "Father, may I please look around!" Kamaria begged, Hevanst sighed, he knew she wasn't going to stop asking. "Fine... on one condition" he responded, Kamaria jumped with joy "Yes! Of course, anything!" She said with excitement. "You must take Lesk with you" Hevanst said, Kamaria's joyous smile quickly faded when she heard her father's request. "What! Really?!" She said with disappointment, Hevanst nodded and Kamaria groaned "Fine... let's go, Lesk" she said as she slowly began to walk off. Lesk lead Kamaria through the town to a large church with green and yellow stained glass windows and large marble pillars out front "Well here's the town church" Lesk said lazily as he gestured to the building. "Wow.. it's lovely. No offense, Lesk, but I was hoping to see something I can't see back home" Kamaria said awkwardly as she looked up at the paladin. Lesk sneered at her remark "Well that's too bad, isn't it? Hevanst sent me with you to protect you so you're going to see whatever I take you to see" he said coldly to her. Kamaria sighed "Yeah, sure" she said, Lesk turned and looked at her "Don't speak that way towards me, hasn't Hevanst taught you to respect you elders?!" He said with an annoyed tone in his voice. "Lesk, you're not that much older than me!" Kamaria said, getting just as annoyed, Lesk sighed loudly "And yet you still act like a child!" He said as he began to walk away. Kamaria, as angry as she was getting, had to follow Lesk since he knew where he was going and she did not. "This is going to feel like an eternity" she thought as she caught back up with the paladin.
