The next morning, Kamaria awoke, a feeling of determination filled her veins. She grabbed her staff and made her way outside of the Inn, she didn't even say goodbye to her father. Lesk glared out the window as he watched her leave, "Damn it, where is she going? She has something planned, I know she does! We've got to move now" he exclaimed as he gathered his small army of men and moved out onto the streets of the bustling town. Kamaria walked slowly and smoothly, waiting till she heard the heavy armored steps of Lesk and his army approach closer. Once close enough, Kamaria stopped in her path, checking to make sure she was close enough the forest, and turned to face the men behind her. Lesk's eyes widened as he saw Kamaria turn and stare him dead in the eyes. She gave him a mischievous smile as she took her staff and twirled it 360° and whispered "Daylight Darkness" just loud enough for him to hear. Within seconds, the moon began to move up towards the sun and the town faded into the blackness. Lesk looked around frantically, trying to spot Kamaria, but he could barely see his own hand in the darkness. After a few minutes, the moon began to move away from the sun and go back down, bringing light back to the civilians eyes. Lesk quickly ran about, trying to find Kamaria, but it was too late, she was already long gone. He grabbed his sword and threw it to the ground in a fit "Kamaria!" He yelled in frustration. Kamaria giggled when she heard Lesk's frustrated screams in the distance as she ran through the forest, going straight towards the cabin. As she appeared in front of the cottage, Kamaria made her way to the front door and was about to knock excitedly, when she felt something cold and sharp on her back. "Haha, you thought you could slip away unnoticed? Nice try, sweety! Now, just open that door and lead me strai-!!!" A town guard said before he abruptly stopped in the middle of his sentence. Kamaria slowly turned around and saw the man turn to a dusty sand pile, with nothing but his armor and sword left. When Kamaria looked up, she saw Augustus standing there, looking at her with a worried expression on his face. "Are you ok?? That guy looked dangerous!" Augustus said, Kamaria just smiled at him, "Oh, Thank you, Augustus! And yes, I'm alright, he didn't hurt me" she said, reassuringly. Augustus nodded "That's good, now lets get inside before we get spotted" he said as he opened the front door and lead Kamaria inside, closing and locking it behind them once they entered. Neil shot up from his spot on an old couch, but sat back down im relief once he saw it was just Kamaria and Augustus. "Jeez, Gus! Why do you open doors so aggressively.." he said as he shook his head. Augustus gave an annoyed look at Kamaria, which made her giggle. Neil made a motion with his hand "Kamaria, come sit. I have regained some memories, you might want to hear them" he said, as the atmosphere in the cabin just got very serious.
