Three

Chapter Three:

His senses come first. He feels as if his whole body is burning to the point of screaming. It hurts so much.

Make it go away. Make it go away.

Then comes a beeping noise.

Beep. Beep. Beep

Then come a voice.

"Raphael..." With the sudden surprise he quickly raises his arms despite the pain surging in him. His fists ready to pounce on whoever or what ever is there.

"Wow calm down it's Leonardo" he sighs, he lets his hands drop.

"Oops sorry Raph." Leonardo says as he hears Raphael grunt in pain.

"It's ight." Raphael brushes it off. "Why can't I see?" He touches his face to see if there was anything covering him but nothing was there.

"Powers off," Leo says, "Fugitoid and Donatello are fixing it as we speak," his voice sounds tired. "The others are holding the guys who attacked us."

"And where are we?" Raphael tries to look around but there were little to nothing that he can see.

"A medical room," as if on cue Leonardo already knew what was coming next, "you were unconscious but other than that and a few minor injuries you're fine from what Fugitoid got."

"Oh." He slowly squeezes his fists. He hates looking weak in front of anyone, especially his brothers.

"What happened? What happened to you guys? You were suppose to be behind me!" He can still feel the rush running through his veins.

His frustration echos and leaves the room as Leonardo stays silent for what seems like forever, "Well?" Raphael says as he knows for a fact that he can't just be laying down when there could still be a possible threat out there or even a threat forthcoming.

"... Are able to walk on your own?" Leonardo finally says.

"I'll make myself walk," Raphael says with pride, "that's besides the point." Raphael starts to sit from the bedding he is on. "Answer the question."

"Just get up and you'll see," a tired sigh escapes Leonardo as he starts to walk away from Raphael. Suddenly a small flash of light is turned on.

"This better be something," Raphael is already up, looking in the direction of the small light, "Where are my weapons?" Leonardo then moves the lights near Raphael. There laying on top of a small cabinet near the bedding are Raphael's famous Sai, his lazer gun and his belt that carried other smaller weapons. From the limited light he can sort of tell that he has everything, he quickly puts on the belt, grabs both weapons and starts to follow Leonardo as he opens the doors.
