Chapter Two:

He quickly comes to a corner, back hitting the wall, body tense, gun in hand, ready to fire at anything. His thoughts race with the dreaded realization that this could mean life or death- for him or everyone he holds dearly. He's not ready for that again. Mind still racing and out of breath he looks towards the direction he came from, an almost pitch black hallway meeting him. He starts applying more pressure to the gun, an almost bone crushing grip. He starts to take in deep breaths but a tight squeeze instead envelops in his chest. Where are they? They should've been right behind me. They have to be okay. They have to be. He closes his eyes for a split second. He thinks to himself; Breathe in and out, breathe. He tried to control his airflow as he waits. After a few seconds he calms down. Okay, okay he assures to himself.

"Raphael!" Distress. He doesn't know who called to him but all he thinks is to run down the same dark hallway he dreaded getting out of.

"What the hell is going on?" Why weren't they behind me? His thoughts go back, the anxiety in his chest starts to settle in again. The more he thinks the faster his legs hit the metal floors, the more he grips the gun.

"How is this possible?" April's voice comes through the intercom, her breathing coming in low and fast.

"April!" Desperation, "Donny, Mikey, Leo, Anyone!" He shouts through the intercom, no response.

He's close, he can see the light at the end, just a bit more.

Out of nowhere the light at end of the pitch dark hallway spins around his vision, the white blinding color becoming more and more bigger than the pitch black surrounding he was once engulfed in. He feels his whole self hit a wall and then collapse onto the ground. His hands quickly come to aid the sides of his head, trying to reduce the amount of flashing lights in his vision but a second later a more powerful kick towards his face prevents that. His whole body recoils back against the wall, gun slipping away from this finger tips and sliding into the white abyss. As his body is still being kicked he feels a tightening sensation rushing in his stomach, a disgusting feeling goes through him as his mouth starts watering out of all the sudden. Don't throw up, don't throw up. He tightly squeezes his eyes as he feels liquid quickly coming up from his throat but he forces himself to gulp it down as constant blows are being thrown at him.

All he can comprehend at the moment is the need to breathe, his whole body is on fire. He again feels a tighten sensation in his chest as if he has never breathed before, he could hear his heart beat through his ears, a sound deafening his cloudy surroundings.

And then everything stops.
