chapter thirteen

A/N: some of the scenes aren't what they exactly said, i rearranged them a bit. this chapter is really long yikes.

when i first laid eyes on five, i never thought we'd actually become anything more than friends. i was way wrong though. i don't know you'd call us. definitely not a couple. maybe just... two teenagers who had feelings for each other?

i'll never forget that night. it was probably one of the best nights i've experienced. i knew that i liked him before, but i didn't know i could like him THIS much.

yet, we can't get distracted. we still have a world to save.

the next day i woke up smiling. knowing that i'd see him. i quickly got up and went downstairs. there he was, pouring coffee in a cup like usual.

"morning." i smiled ear to ear.

"hi, morning." five said while smiling back.

that damn smile. it could literally kill anyone.

he passed me a cup of coffee and sat down next to me. he had the look on his face; like he was worried or stressed.

"what's wrong?" my smile started to fade away.

"i need to tell the others the plan. i'm just worried that i won't be able to stop it. i don't know how. all i have as a clue is this damn eye." five sighed and rested his hand on his head.

"hey, hey, it's okay. is there a serial number on the back?" i looked at five, frowning.

knowing he was stressed, made me stressed.

"yeah... there's an address too." five exclaimed while pulling the eye out of his pocket.

"then what are we waiting for? lets go!" i stood up from the chair and put his blazer that he gave me on.

"okay but, if anything goes down, i want you to stay out of it. i don't want you getting hurt." he said.

i scrunched my nose.

"okay." i crossed my arms.

"seriously? you mean it?" five seemed shocked.

"yep." i gave him a half-smile.

"good." he stood up from his chair.

"now... how are we gonna get there?" i said while biting my lip, trying to think of something.

"we can drive there." five said.

"how are we- we're thirteen five." i shook my head.

"i can drive." five shrugged.

"what?" i scoffed.

"just... follow me." he took my hand and lead me outside.

he drove to the address it had on the eye. it was a rather big building. once we were inside we were greeted by a man.

"how may i help you?" the man said.

"yes, we just need information on this eye. specifically, whose it is." five pulled out the eye and showed it to the man.

"well, i can't necessarily give you the information about the owner. and may i ask where you got it?" he seemed rather confused.

"i don't believe that's any of your concern." five said with seriousness in his voice.

i bumped him with my elbow, signaling five to just tell him where it came from.

five looked at me then back at the man.

"i found it at a park actually... it might've just.."

five made mouth popping noise and smiled.

"popped out."

"unfortunately i cant give you any information without the owner's consent." he sighed.

"we don't even know who the owner is so how can we ask for consent?!" i said angrily as i stepped beside five.

the man looked shocked that i yelled at him.

"young lady, that's not how it works."

i was getting fed up at this point. i just wanted to get information and leave.

"let's take this in your office." i scoffed.

once we were in the office five looked at me like i was crazy. little did he know i had a plan.

"anything that i told you earlier isn't going to change. i can't give you information-

i interrupted him by slamming my hand on his desk.

"listen here. i'm done with your bullshit. if you don't give the the damn information, i swear to god i will find you and leave you breathless. what i mean by breathless is dead." i snapped at him.

the man's eyes widened.

"but you're just a kid.." he chuckled.

i used my power to fling a snow globe across the room.

"see that? you see how the glass is broken? that'll be your bones if you don't give me the information." i said with full seriousness.

"okay!!" the man seemed frightened.

he reached for the phone to call security. i took the phone out of his hands and threw it on the ground. i smashed it by stepping on it.

"give me it. now." i started to raise my voice.

he brought us to a room with files scattered across the room. he looked up the owner.

"it says here it hasn't been bought yet.. i'd have to go to the lab to.."

"well great! i guess we're going on a fucking field trip!" i yelled.

"o-okay!! meet me in the nearest alley!! i get off at 7!!" the man said, with his hands trembling.

i smiled widely at him and headed my way toward the elevator.

once we were in the elevator five looked dumbfounded.

"hey, you okay?" i asked.

"yeah just... what you did back there was badass." five laughed.

"yep, i knew i'd break him one way or another." i snickered.

"that's my girlfriend."
