Kagari: "If Ryo comes back, what'll happen to me?"

(I've known from the start that I'm only writing the songs until Ryo comes back.)

Kyohei seems to sense my uneasiness. He slowly opens his mouth.

Kyohei: "If Ryo comes back, you..."

Kyohei: "...Will just keep doing what you're doing."

Kagari: "Huh?"

Kagari: "W-What do you mean?"

Kyohei: "Just what I said. We'll still have you write our songs."

Kagari: "W-Why?"

I wasn't expecting an answer like that and it's caught me off guard.

Kyohei: "What did you think was going to happen?"

Kagari: "Well, I'm just filling in for Ryo, aren't I?"

Kagari: "So if he came back, I figured you wouldn't need me anymore..."

Kyohei: "You big dummy."

Kyohei flicks my forehead with his index finger.

Kagari: "O-Ow! Hey!"

Kyohei: "That would never happen."

Kagari: "What?"

Kyohei: "The lyrics you write are completely different from Ryo's."

Kyohei: "Ryo's song are important to Revance, but so are yours."

Kagari: "So, you mean..."

Kyohei: "You're in this for the long haul."

Kyohei: "I don't plan on letting you go anytime soon."

Kagari: "You mean... you all really think of me as part of the band?"

Kyohei: "Of course. Haven't you figured that out by now?"

Kyohei: "I will use any means necessary to remove obstacles that get in Revance's way."

Kyohei: "At the same time, I will hold on tight to the things Revance needs."

Kyohei: "I thought that would've been clear to you."

Kyohei flashes his usual, confident smile. At last, the unease that's been plaguing me this whole time evaporates.

Kagari: "Ahaha..."

Kyohei: "What are you laughing for?"

Kagari: "I just realized that, deep down, I knew all along that would be your answer."

(W-What was I thinking? There was nothing for me to worry about.)

Kyohei: "I decided long ago..."

Kyohei pulls me in and he wraps me in his arms.

Kyohei: "...That's I'd never let you out of my arms."

Kagari: "But that has nothing to do with me as a lyricist."

Kyohei: "You're too serious. Just look at me lovingly, will you?"

Kyohei: "You don't have to worry. I'm in love with your talent, too."

Kyohei: "I won't abandon you as my girlfriend or as my songwriter or as my Idol girl."

Kyohei: "Now that you know your job is secure, get back to work on that song!"

Kagari: "Yes, I'll do just that!"
