Scandal of the Spotlight: Kyohei Rikudoh (Discontinued)

(Sequel Epilogue) Chapter 1

The opening night of the screenplay contest play is drawing near. I accompany Revance as their assistant manager for their appearance on N Station.

Taro: "I heard that you're going to be starring in a play soon."

Kyohei: "Yeah, that's right. I'm rehearsing lines every day."

Announcer: "A lot of your fans are really excited to see this."

Announcer: "They're saying they're looking forward to seeing you up close."

Kyohei: "Well, they're right since the theater's stage is closer to the seats."

Kyohei: "It's so close you might even feel me breathing on you!"

Audience: "AAAHHH!!!"

Iori: "Careful! Careful! You don't want them to faint and miss the whole performance."

Nagito: "That's fine! Then they'll have to come again!"

Kota: "That feels a little sneaky."

Kyohei: "Hey! I'm not planning that!"

Kyohei: "But I do want to put on a performance that makes people want to see it over and over again!"

(Kyohei is a completely different person when he's in public...)

(He's exhausted from all the rehearsals and shows no signs of it...)

Seeing them all so full of energy inspires me. I grab my notebook and write down some phrases I can use for a future song.

Taro: "Alright Revance, it's nearly time, get ready to standby."

The band find their places and the music starts to play as the audience roars.

Kyohei: "Is everyone ready?"

Iori: "Don't take your eyes off us."

Audience: "AAAHHH!!!"

They flash their smiles at the end of the show after delivering a flawless performance.

Staff: "Good show, guys."

Everyone: "Thanks."

Staff: "Ms. Otonashi, did you write the script for Mr. Rikudoh's upcoming performance?"

Kagari: "Yes, that's right."

Staff: "I had no idea you were aiming to be a screenwriter, Ms. Otonashi!"

Staff: "But why are you working as a manager?"

Kagari: "Well, because..."

(I can't reveal that I'm a ghostwriter for Revance... of course I can't tell the staff as I am Idol pop star girl band of Milky Pop...)

Kagari: "...I can learn a lot about screenwriting by doing this."

Staff: "I see. Isn't it hard work balancing the two?"

Kyohei: "Can we talk about that another time? She's still our manager right now!"

Kyohei moves over to stand between me and the staff member.

Kyohei: "Come on, we don't have time for this right now. We need to go to our next spot."

Kagari: "S-Sorry! I'll get ready right away..."

Kyohei: "Hurry up!"

Kagari: "Ok! Ok! Now just be patient!? Sheesh!?"

I move quickly as Kyohei goads me. As we walk, Kyohei turns his head to look at me.
