Scandal of the Spotlight: Kyohei Rikudoh (Discontinued)

(Sequel) Chapter 6

Takashi: "Let me see."

We can't make the normal N Station rehearsal time on the day of the show. So today Revance is having a special rehearsal in advance. But...

Kyohei: "Yeah, it fits the melody."

Takashi: "Then let's go with this. Kyohei and Kota, you have your parts down?"

Kyohei: "No problem."

Kota: "All good here."

Kagari: "I'm sorry about this!"

(I worked on my contest entry up until the deadline, so ran short on time for the lyrics.)

(Turns out I'm not good at working on two things at once.)

I didn't have a song until two days ago and the final arrangement was just finished today.

(I can't believe we're finishing the song in the dressing room.)

(I haven't delivered lyrics this late since that first time.)

Iori: "I think it's better if Kota and I trade places during the refrain."

Kota: "Okay, so well switch right before the refrain hits."

Kyohei: "Want to run through it once more?"

Nagito: "Yeah."

As they quickly run through the choreography, I'm the only one looking stressed.

(They have to rush because of me...)

(They're used to handling tight schedules like this, but...)

It's still incredible that they're able to get the dance down so quickly.

(I'm the only one that can't keep up with their pace.)

Staff: "Okay, let's begin Revance's rehearsal."

Staff: "You'll be performing last, so please keep that in mind."

All: "Okay."

An upbeat intro begins to play, in stark contrast to my regretful mood. Kyohei's piercing gaze seems to shoot straight through the camera as he sings.

(His memorized the lyrics so fast. It's amazing.)

(This is what true performers can do.)

As the refrain approaches, Kota makes eye contact with Iori.

(They're planning to change places at the refrain.)

(They haven't moved yet, though. Has Iori forgotten?)

I start getting worried, but right before the refrain starts, Iori smiles. The two of them gracefully switch places in perfect time to the music.

(This is only the rehearsal, but they already have the new move down pat.)

(They're perfectly in sync. Amazing.)

Nagito: "Here we go!"

As the interlude starts, enter the main dance part in perfect step with each other. Takashi grins ear to ear as he does a smooth turn.

(He's probably the one who had to work the hardest because I was late with the lyrics.)

(I have to do better so I don't put this much pressure on them again.)
