One whole week went by. I have been avoiding Sean whilst he has been avoiding me too. Every time we'd make eye contact hurt would flash through his eyes and he'd be the first to look away.

I'm not going to lie. I did feel hurt to see him hurt. I could feel my cold eyes soften towards him every time I felt his pain radiating off him. But I had to be strong I can't feel hurt like I've felt all those years ago.

Everyday after school I would grab a ride from Ryan to work. And if Ryan was busy then I'd ask Jase and if Jase was busy then I would ask Eliot. They would all gladly oblige to giving me a lift.

Work has been going good. Customers would come in and look around, I'd either work at the till or help the customers out.

Most of the time, girls would come in and look at my dress, well soon to be mine dress, but Tony always told them it wasn't for sale. I felt bad because some girls left the store when he told them that.

I told Tony if he's losing customers then he should put the dress back on for offer. But he politely said no. There was no need. After arguing with him about it I finally agreed. I felt selfish but Tony wouldn't listen.

History was dragging on, and just as everyone was slowly packing away, my name was called through the speakers. 'Would Alexis Jordan of 12th grade please report to the principles office, that's Alexis Jordan on 12th grade'.

Everyone was staring at me, wondering if I was in trouble, wondering what I did. I could see a few judging looks but I shrugged it off.

Putting my things into my bag, I slowly made my way through the class and out the door.

Making my way to the principles office the secretary looked up from her keyboard and stared at me.

"Oh, new face, what's your name?" She asked.

"Alexis Jordan" I answered dully. I heard her tapping away on the keyboard, probably searching me up in the schools system.

"Ooh, new student! Already sent to the principles office? What a shame." She said, shaking her head disappointedly. Oh shut up cow.

When I didn't answer she just sighed. "Well he's with a student at the moment, so if you'd like to take a seat, he'll be with you shortly." I nodded at her before taking a seat next to the principles office door.

A few seconds later, the door opened and out walked Elliot. A smile pulled at my lips immediately. And a surprised look was plastered on his face. Chuckling quietly, I had to ask.

"So what did he want?" Sounding a little bit nosey.

"Something about joining clubs" He said with a shrug. I nodded at him and began walking towards the door, turning it slightly I began walking in but before I did I turned around and mouthed 'wait for me' at him. He nodded and I carried on my walk towards the principle who was sitting on his big computer chair with his hands resting on the desk, intertwined.

"Hi sir." I said sheepishly. Thinking back to before I left, I remembered, Mr Croft loved me! I would never be sent here because of bad behavior, whenever I was sent here, he would always praise me, especially with my English work. My English teacher loved my first assignment, she said it was 'outstanding', 'beautifully written' and 'amazingly articulate' of course I've always thought she was sugar coating it a bit too much but when she sent it off to the principle and he said how me he loved my work and that every piece of assignment I write he wants to read it, I began to actually think I had potential, I was proud of myself to say the least.

"Hello Alexis, welcome." He said with a warm smile.

"So what's up? " I asked slouching, but feeling awkward and put on the spot by his timid stare. I looked at him, to see him staring at me, with a crease on his forehead. I coughed. And that seemed to bring him back.
