Chapter 11 (you can't keep pretending it's ok)

She stood in front of us with the biggest scowl i'd ever seen.

"What the hell?" she yelled at Rydel.

Rydel opened her mouth but nothing came out, I think she was to scared and if I were in her situation I'd be to.

"Why would you do that you stupid bitch?" yelled Lauren even louder.

"Um u um wha what did I do?" said Rydel stuttering.

"Camilla told me what you said to Rocky about me" she said glaring at the girl sat next to me.

"What what did I um say?" said Rydel keeping her head down.

"You told him that you hated me and I had an STD" said Lauren whispering the last part of the sentence.

I couldn't stop a smile from spreading on my face. I high fived Rydel under the table.

Lauren sent me a death glare when she saw me smiling and I quickly hid my smile. The teacher had left the room and I wasn't sure if I'd actually seen what I did but I swear I saw a blonde head outside our door but none of the other Lynch's were in this class and well no one else has as bright blonde hair as them. I must of been mistaken because I didn't see it again. I then focused my attention back to Rydel and Lauren.

"I swear I didn't say that" said Rydel trying to convince Lauren to leave her alone.

"Well why would Camilla lie to me?" spat Lauren.

"I don't know" stuttered Rydel.

"Exactly you don't have a reason" growled Lauren.

I have no idea what came over me but if you remember what I told you before I think I could take them one on one.

"Because she's a bitch" I said

"What?" said Lauren all her attention on me.

"I said because she's a bitch" I continued "and she'd love to see any of your group hurt Rydel for no reason. If Rydel says she didn't say it then she didn't. Even tho it wouldn't surprise me if you did have an STD"

"No one can talk to me like that." Said Lauren not allowing her eyes to leave me.

"Iggy talked to Camilla like that so do you think your better than Camilla?" I said twisting her words.

"I didn't mean that" said Lauren.

"We it sure came out like that" I said glaring back towards the bitch that stood in front of me.

The teacher came in and told Lauren to sit in her normal seat. She glared at us and sat down next to Normani.

"You ok?" I said to Rydel trying to look like I was concentrating on our teacher.

"Ye, I'm use to it" said Rydel quietly.

"Why don't you tell Rocky?" I asked as I took down notes.

"Because"

"Because why?"

"I don't want to rely on my brothers for everything"

"That's what brothers are there for. Your all going to college next year well all of you a part from Ryland?" I said more of a question.

"Ye"

"Ye, then there. Rylands not gonna have anyone to look out for him. You do so use it" I said.

"But he loves her and I don't want to screw that up for him"

"He wouldn't love her if he knew what she was really like"

"I know but can we just leave it" said Rydel focusing on her work.

I now knew why she didn't want to tell Rocky. But it wasn't going to get easier for her until she told someone.

I know what I said next wasn't me being a great friend in the short term but in the long term she'd thank me "i'll tell him"

"What no you wouldn't" said Rydel.

"Yes I would you can call me a bad friend but in the long run you'll thank me, you can't keep pretending it's ok"

"But if you were really my friend you just wouldn't"

"But if I were really your friend I wouldn't stand around and watch you get hurt".

"Please don't tell him" pleaded Rydel

"If you won't I will" I said replying with my choice words earlier.

The lesson ended and myself and Rydel made our way out of class. We walked out towards Rydel's family and Tydel stopped me "I really should tell him myself"

"Ok" I said.

She took a long breath and looked at me with pleading eyes. I shook my head letting her know she had to tell Rocky now. We began to walk over to Rocky until Ross grabbed him and dragged him away from there group and was talking to him with a loud hushed voice.

We watched the pair and Rocky's face went cold. He walked straight past us not even looking at his sister. Ross ran over to the rest of his family and Ratliff and said something. They all got up and began to follow Rocky. Rydel sighed and grabbed my arm and we began to follow them.

I could hear yelling and a group of people had surrounded Rocky and someone else. Myself and Rydel pushed our way to the front and saw Rocky and Lauren yelling at eachother.

"Ross told me what you said to my sister" yelled Rocky.

"I didn't say anything to your bitch if a sister" yelled Lauren back.

"Don't call my sister a bitch you bitch" yelled Rocky even louder

"But she is a bitch and she just doesn't want us to be together"

Rocky rolled his eyes and then probably said the best thing Rydel's ever heard "I want to break up".
