Chapter 3 (it's in his DNA)

I heard aloud gasp as the door slowly opened. Mr. Somerhalder had left the room to talk to Miss. Reed. The gasp came from Camilla's group. All four of our heads turned towards the door. Ariana was walking through the door. She kept her head bowed down looking at the floor.

I heard Camilla and whisper something to her friends. She then stood up and walked over to Ariana. She then whispered something in Ariana's ear.

Ariana looked like she was about to cry. A tear rolled down her face. I looked at Perrie. Perrie's mouth was slightly open in shock as she watched Camilla talk to Ariana.

Jesy and Leigh Ann's faces were equally covered in shock.

I heard some of the boys from the football team begin to laugh. I continued to watch as Camilla humiliated Ariana in front of the class. Suddenly the door opened and Mr. Somerhalder walked in.

He looked at Camilla and then at Ariana who was know trying to wipe the tears away from her.

"What's going on?" said Mr. Somerhalder his voice obviously angry as he looked at Camilla.

"Nothing" she said smiling at Ariana.

"Will you come outside with me?" Mr. Somerhalder asked Ariana.

Everyone looked around as Mr. Somerhalder led Ariana out of the classroom.

Silence fell in the classroom. The door opened and Mr. Somerhalder appereard around the cornor.

"Miss Thirlwall can you please come with me?" Mr. Somerhalder spoke.

I looked at my friends and worry was obviously on my face.

What if Ariana said I was being mean to her just so she could get Camilia of the hook? Teachers can be stupid and will believe what's easiest.

I stood up and followed Mr. Somerhalder out of the classroom. He stopped outside the door and faced myself and Ariana.

"There is a new student starting today and I was wondering if you to would help her feel welcome".

"Um ok" I whispered.

Ariana nodded her head slightly. Mr. Somerhalder led us down the corridor towards the main office where a blonde girl was waiting.

This girl had thick blonde hair and it was pulled up in a ponytail. Her make up was very well done. She had eyeliner on that was very neatly on her face. I caught the glimpse of a tattoo on her arm.

I glanced at Ariana who glanced back at me.

"This is Amethyst Amelia Kelly" said Mr. Somerhalder as we walked towards the girl.

"Hi" she said in a thick Australia accent.

"Hi" I said smiling.

"Hi" said Ariana

"These two girls will be showing you around" said Mr. Somerhalder looking at Amethyst.

She nodded her head looking towards myself and Ariana.

"Fancy name" said Ariana

"Ye i'm so fancy" she replied.

Mr. Somerhalder walked down the corridor leaving us alone with Amethyst.

"Sooo" said Amethyst dragging out the o.

"Oh, well I'm Jade and this is Ariana" I said looking at the blonde girl in front of me.

"Well I'm Amethyst but my friends call me Iggy. I'm the new exchange student from Australia just incase the accent didn't give it away" she said.

"Well it's nice to meet you Iggy" said Ariana not completely sure she should call the girl in front of us Iggy.
