Lucas POV

Four days…

It’s been four days since I almost lost Athena… for good.

I sighed.

Here I am, sitting, waiting, hoping that she’ll make it.

It’s my fault. I know that.

She gave up because of me being unfaithful. She got defeated because of me not holding on to my promise. She got suicidal because of me, yeah ME.

I wish I could go back in my time to fix things altogether. To have her trust back.

To be loved by her once again.

It’s been four days since she officially break up with me. She never talked to me after that incident. She never told me that we’re over. But I don’t need words from her. ‘Cause I can feel it.

Kirby.

 

He said he will take care of Athena. But what happened? Athena was there, at the rooftop, about to jump off while crying. Kirby wasn’t there to stop her. I was supposed to save her but, I was too late.

Good thing a dump truck drove over that moment. That truck was able to save Athena from dying.

Actually I almost kneel to that driver, as a piece of gratitude I gave them something that could help to their daily lives.

I am really thankful to them for saving Athena.

For saving the love of my life.

For saving my life.

And Kirby wasn’t able to do that. And I know,

He will never.

Now, he was also here. In the same room as where I am sitting right now. In Athena’s room in this hospital for her recovery.
