Athena’s POV

“Kenji?”

*blagag!*

Nawala na si Kenji bigla, nagising na lang ako ng may kaba. Nasan ako? Bat ako nandito sa ospital? Pag tingin tingin ko sa paligid, nakita kong may nakatumbang upuan. May nakabukas na pintuan. Sisilip sana ako kaso ang daming nakapulupot sakin. Ang daming nakatusok. Anu bayan, anu nanaman nangyari sakin? Magaling na ko diba?

Hmmm… Kenji…

panaginip lang pala.

Hay nako, huminga ako nang malalim. Suddenly, oppa burst in through the door. He looked at me sadly then exhaled.

“Oppa? What’s wrong? How long has it been? “I asked.

He looked down, seems like he was thinking for a reason, a lie.

“Tell me the truth oppa. Please. And where’s Lucas? Did he leave me already? Where is he?” I started to cry.

Oh yeah, Lucas. I suddenly remembered him. How long is it since I slept? How long has it been since he loved me? Where is he?

…Kenji… hmmm… what are you doing? Why? You are telling me to leave but you appear to be with me?

That’s what I wish since we both die.

But I’m committed to someone. Someone who used to be OUR best friend. Someone who used to be my angel. Someone who I used to call my boyfriend under the pouring rain late that night. Someone who used to fight with me.

But where is he? Why am I left here all alone to fight for my own?

“He just left Athena. He ran away crying. Para syang galit. Nalilito. Malungkot. May nasabi ka ba sa kanya Athena?” Tanung sakin ni oppa.

Napatingin ako sa kanya. May nasabi? Ee kakagsing ko pa nga lang.

“Kaakagising ko pa lang.”

“Athena –“

“Oppa, where is he?”

“To tell you the truth, you’ve slept for almost 3 weeks. Lucas, well, lagi syang nandito. Araw araw. O sige ha, tatawagin ko lang ung nurse para I check ka.”

I was left alone thinking.

Araw araw pala nasa tabi ko si Lucas.

Araw araw ko pala siya kasamang lumaban.
