LaVaughn Jester

It's been days since Zaire dropped me off. It wasn't that bad here, the school oh em gee. They do bougie. I hated the school. "Vaughn, my mom said come eat." Layla said. I nodded and followed her to the kitchen. It was sad that she still didn't tell them that I was her child.

I shook my head and sat at the table. "Good morning." Jayla said. "Hi." I mumbled. "How you like Beverly Hills?" My moms husband Kevin asked. "It's okay, I like Malibu better." I said. They nodded. "Understandable." He said.

"Met any friends?" My mom asked. "Kennedy, and Omarion." I said. She nodded. "That's good." She said. "You ready?" Layla asked me. I nodded. Standing up putting my stuff in the sink. I grabbed my bookbag and headed out the door with Layla and Jayla. I climbed in the backseat looking out the window as they drove. I haven't heard from either Ant or Zaire. It was making me mad, because he promised he wouldn't forget me. I sighed as we pulled up to this bougie ass school.

I hopped out and walked in leaving Layla and Jayla behind. Micheal walked up to me and I obviously ignored him. "LaVaughn." He called out. "What?" I asked. "Lighten up, you're in Beverly Hills for christ sake." He said. I shook my head. "Nah." I mumbled and went the opposite way.

I walked into the class and Kennedy greeted me. "Hey." She said. "Hi." I said sitting next to her. "How was your morning?" She asked. Kennedy, she was like the black white girl. She was black, but she acted white. Talked proper, partied like a white person.

"It was decent." I said. She nodded. "You heard from your Zaire?" She asked. I chuckled. She had this dumb theory that I was in love with Zaire. "No." I said. "He haven't texted." I said. She nodded. "I have a feeling today is that day, text him first if he doesn't text you today." She said. I nodded. "I definitely will." I said, lying straight through my teeth.

After school, we headed home. I seen Kevin on the couch. Layla and Jayla dropped me off. And Micheal was at practice. I slick felt uncomfortable around him, maybe it's nothing. "Hey." He said. "Hey." I replied. "Come, I'm not gone bite." He said. I slowly walked over and sat next to him.

"Your so quiet. I wish my kids were like this." He said scooting closer. I chuckled lightly. "I know you're Lisa's daughter." He said.

"She told you only?" I asked. "Yeah, she told me when we first met," He said. I nodded. "Why you so closed off?" He asked. "I don't like being open." I said. "I can change that." He said moving even closer. My breathing sped up as he placed his hand on my thigh.

My gut feeling never wrong, why? "W-what are y-you doing?" I stuttered. "Just stay still." He said. I closed my mouth and he slid his hand up closer. "N-no." I said lowly. He didn't listen, he just kept going. I was hoping somebody walked in, but my luck didn't come.

I laid on the couch for a minute wishing the pain would stop. I slowly got up and walked to the room sitting on the bed. "Speak about this to anybody, I'll hurt you." He spoke lowly. I slowly nodded and watched as he walked out.

I grabbed my phone seeing it light up.
