He has a fear of cemeteries because of a childhood incident. He was visiting his parents grave with his sister and she was crying immensely. The next day she committed suicide. In her suicide not were the words "I couldn't bear seeing our parents gravestones and not being able to see them". Dominic then 'realised' that the cemetery was the reason is sister died. So he has never set foot in one again and he swears he never will.
