"Eun-Jung." My mother said. I shook my head while she was dragging me towards the school.

It was my very first day of school in a new city. I was scared of what others would think of me. An 8 year old country girl that's been homeschooled ever since.

"I don't want to." I said. She turned around and kneeled down to me. She looked into my eyes.

"I know moving somewhere different can be scary, but you need to be strong and brave. Can you do that for me?" She said. I nodded my head. She stood up and took my hand. We walked towards the school side by side.

My mom checked me in with the front desk and a woman took me to a room. She turned to me.

"This is your homeroom. All the students are in there waiting for you." She said and smiled. I smiled back and turn at the door. I took a deep breath and entered the room.

Everyone's eyes were on me. Their glare was frightening, but I walked straight towards the teacher with confidence.

"Class. This is Kim Eun-Jung." She introduced. I bowed.

"Hi. I hope we can all be friends. Please take care of me." I said with a smile. I was feeling a little confident when I did that. They were smiling and waving at me.

"Good. Now you will sit next to Yoongi. Yoongi raise your hand." The teacher said. A boy next to the window raised his hand. I walked over and made eye contact with the boy. I smiled at him, but he didn't smile back, he just looked out the window.

He is going to be a challenge to be friends with. I turned away from him and saw another boy sitting next to me looking at me. He smiled at me and waved. I did the same.

Class ended and it was lunch time. The boy who had smiled at me came over to me.

"Hi. I'm Hoseok." He said with a smile. "Do you want to sit with me at lunch?" He asked and I nodded. I grabbed my lunch. I turned around and looked at Yoongi. He was still sitting and looking out the window. I walked over to him.

"Aren't you going to eat lunch?" I asked. He turned and looked at me. He sighed.

"No." He replied.

"Why?" I asked. He looked annoyed.

"Because I don't want to." He said angrily. "Now leave me alone."

Someone took a hold of my hand. I turned around and saw Hoseok.

"It's better if we just leave." He whispered to me. "Let not anger him." But I was getting mad at Yoongi.

"Why are you like this?" I yelled at him. Yoongi got surprised. "I know we just met, but why are you so grumpy. Is something bothering you?" I asked. He stood up from his chair. He was angered. I took a step back.

"I said leave me alone." He said and walked out of the classroom. I looked down and let out a sigh.

"It's okay Eun-Jung." Hoseok said with a smile. "He's just like that everyday, don't worry." I nodded.

During lunch, Hoseok introduced me to everyone. Everyone was so nice and friendly, and I just knew I would be friends with every single one of them. Except Yoongi.
