It's the day of the trial. Taehyung and I were going to be the witnesses. I was really nervous, but I knew I needed to do this to put them in jail for good.
I told them everything. The past, the revenge, the escape. Everything. Day by day the case was coming to a close.
It was the last day. The jury was going to say if Mr.Min was guilty or innocent. A paper was passed from the jury to the judge.
"The jury has concluded that Mr.Min is guilty." The judge said. "He and his men will be given life sentences for torturing them almost to death and starving them." Then we heard the bangs from the judge which concluded the trial. I heard a few cheers and claps. I just let out a relieved sigh out and payed my head on Jungkook's shoulder.
"Thank god this is over." I said. He payed his head on top of mine.
"Me too." He said and held my hand tightly.
A couple days passed now. We've settled down. Mom has taken over the company and we went back to school pretending everything was fine.
When I came back, everyone was staring at me. Some even were brave enough to ask me if I was alright. Seulgi stopped bullying me for good. Maybe she felt bad for me and pity saved me.
All I really have to focus on is passing my exams. If I don't succeed, then I can kiss second year here goodbye.
I have successfully passed every single course except dance. Dance is today. That assignment that Jungkook and I have been working on will finally be presented. We walked in the classroom. I put my backpack on the ground and start stretching. Jungkook plops down beside me.
"Are you ready?" He asked me. I smiled.
"As long as you are with me." I told him. He let out a bunny smile. He reached for my hand and placed a small kiss on it.
"Everybody get into role call." The teacher said.
At this school, everyone in the same grade has to do the test. It doesn't matter what class you are in. If today is dance exam, that means everyone will take it on that day. That meant we could see everyone dance.
We watched many people dance. They did so well, I was scared if ours was good enough. I was surprised that Jimin and Seulgi were dancing together. They were probably the best dancers here. They moved in together and they flowed with the music. It looked perfect.
"Next up. Jungkook and Eun-Jung." The teacher said. We stood up and made our way to the center of the gym. The music started playing and we danced. Jungkook threw me up in the air as I did the splits. He brought me down and we twirled. I felt light on my feet and could only hear the music. We finished and sat down.
"Do you think we did okay?" I asked Jungkook nervously.
"Okay? We did not do okay." Jungkook said. "We did super amazingly spectacular." I rolled my eyes.
"You're complimenting yourself too much." I said. He gasped.
"What do you mean?" He asked. "I deserve all the compliments." I laughed and pinched his cheek.
"Sure you do." I said. I pinched harder.
"Ahhh. That hurts my faceu!!" He said. Someone behind us shushed at us. I mouthed sorry to the person.
"Look what you did." I whispered.
"Look what I did?" He whispered back. "More like what you did!" Then out of nowhere I see Yoongi. He sits right in between us.
"You guys made me do this." He said. "Now be quiet both of you."
"But it's his fault." I whined as I tugged on Yoongi's shirt. All he did was cover my mouth and shushed me.
"Just stop talking and watch." He said as he pointed to some students dancing. And we did. For another wholesome four hours.
Then school is over for today. They said the results will be in tomorrow and I can't wait. Jungkook and I go to the convenience store to get some snacks. We bought chips and banana milk. We started drinking on our way to the coffee shop.
"You know what I haven't said to you yet?" Jungkook asked. I looked at him curiously.
"What's that?" I asked. He smiled.
"I love you." He said while showing me a finger heart. I got all flustered and started running away.
"Why are you running?" Jungkook asked. "Why are you running?" As he caught up to me, he wrapped his arms around me.
"I'm shy~" I said. "You're making me shy." He hugged me tighter.
"I'm not letting go until you say the three words." Jungkook said.
"Is it, I'm the best or is it, You are scary." I said innocently.
"Stop playing with me." He said. I smiled and put a small kiss Jungkook's lips which left him stunned.
"I love you too." I said. Jungkook was so shocked that I was able to break free and run away. He stumbled after me.
