"You will have an arranged marriage with Jungkook." Dad said. My widened as if I needed to hear that again.
"Excuse me. What?" I asked.
"I'm sorry, but this is for the business and I heard you guys were roommates, so I thought it would be ok." He said. I was angry, better her I was furious, but I didn't let it get the best of me.
"I have to go. I'll be outside if anyone needs me." I said as I quickly walked away.
"Eun-Jung!" Jungkook shouted. I didn't turn back for him. He had disappointed me for the last time. I disappeared in the crowd and out the door to the backyard.
I had explored the area and Taehyung and I had found a nice place to hide. It was in the shed in the corner of the backyard. I opened the door and closed the door shut. I sat on the chair and burst out crying.
I didn't know why this had upset me so much, but I did. Maybe because it was the fact that I wasn't choosing who I wanted to be with. I didn't love Jungkook, we're just friends. I was thinking and crying I heard a knock on the door.
"Whose there?" I asked.
"It's Jungkook. Can you please open the door? I can explain." He said.
"No! Go away!" I responded.
"Please. Can't we just talk?" He asked. I didn't respond. He sighed. "I didn't want to do this. Eun-Jung, stand as far away from the door ok?" A few seconds later, the door opened. Jungkook had kicked the door and it nearly gave me a heart attack.
"I'm sorry." He said. He approached me, but I took steps back. We were just inches away. He cupped my face wiping away my tears. "Please don't cry. You look prettier when you smile." That's when I just couldn't take it. I hugged Jungkook. My face in his chest just bawling. We sat down on the chair in the shed.
I bet I looked stupid just crying in front of Jungkook. But at this point, I just didn't care. For a few minutes, I stopped crying and just hit Jungkook in the chest lightly.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked.
"I just learned today who I was gonna be engaged to and I was kinda nervous to tell you. I didn't know what to do." He said.
"And why didn't you mention your parents to me at all?" I asked.
"I was scared. I usually don't tell people that I come from a rich family because I want people to look at me as a person. Not some rich kid." He said.
"We are so close to each other and you haven't learned that I have no care." I said.
"Well I was gonna tell you, but I never knew when." He said guiltily. I sighed. I laid my head on Jungkook's shoulder and closed my eyes.
"What is going on with my life." I said to myself. "Now I have a fiancée that is my roommate."
"Well it's not a bad thing is it?" He asked.
"Well I thought I would be with someone that I love. You know?" I said. I felt Jungkook's shoulder slouched.
"Well Eun-Jung, I want to tell you something. And I have felt this way towards you ever since you've been my roommate." Jungkook said. I opened my eyes and looked at him with curiosity. He let out a big sigh.
"I like you." He said. My eyes widened. Our eyes locked. I started to blush. I didn't know what to say.
"You know what. Forget what I just said." He said. "Let's just go inside." We went out of the shed. The moonlight had struck his face and I could see he was blushing even harder than I was. I couldn't help, but smile.
