"Mom! Dad!"

These words roared out of my mouth as the car turned and turned. Flipped and flipped. Rolled and rolled. I soon found myself upside down, blood smeared everywhere.

I repeated the same words, yet to find no response. I scream and scream for help, my phone found useless as spiderweb-like cracks form across the screen. In the distance, red and blue lights flash before my eyes.

People yelled around me to see whose alright, I can barley hear them as the high pitched ring in my ear mimics deafness.

The door next to me opens and a man attempts to rip the seatbelt from across my chest.

"I need you to put your hands above you and try to keep your self up once I break the belt, okay?"

"Yeah," I barley manage to croak out.

He scratches away at the leather with his knife until it finally snaps, hitting me in the face in the process giving me a nice slash across my cheek. Definitely giving me a scar.

My hands push against the roof to hold my self up as the nurse instructed me to move out the vehicle. As soon as I'm out I am immediately placed on a stretcher being attended to.

I look at my parents in the car, the lights slightly flashing against them giving me little sight in the night. I calmly ask if my parents are okay.

"We just have to worry about you for now."

Those words replayed in my head. I knew it couldn't be good. I get it they don't want me to worry, but with and upside down car, parents in the front seat unresponsive, and blood dripping and smeared everywhere, how could I not worry.

the next day

Waking up I found my self in a hospital room. As I look around I recall the events that took place last night, or what I thought happened.

The door opened as I was greeted with a doctor and a nurse. The nurse started to attempted to me, changing needles and checking vital.

The doctor approached me and started to ask questions.

"Do you recall anything from last night?"

I took a sip of water to fix my dry throat. "Yes."

He started to check off things on his clipboard. "Is there anyone we can call for you?"

"Uh, my parents."

The doctor looked at me with sadden eyes. "Your parents died in the crash, we did everything we could. I'm sorry for your loss."

A tear rolled down my cheek. I shouldn't be crying now, I thought. They need to check me first.

Wiping the tear off I look back at him. "I have an older brother."

"Give me his number and we can make the call."

I wrote down his number on a piece of paper the doctor gave me. I was just hoping it's the right one as everything is foggy to me.

The nurse left so I turned on the T.V. Impractical Jokers was playing. A.K.A the BEST show in the world. I mean how could you not laugh at Murr's ferret tattoo.

three hours later

My brother and the doctor walked in just as Sal was doing his punishment of pulling a baby cow out of its mother. Dang I feel bad for that germaphobe.

My brother instantly hugged me and asked questions. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah just peachy in a hospital and all."

"And your still sarcastic as always," he said with a smirk.

The doctor cut in to the conversation. "Since both of your parents are gone, y/n will need to be put in foster care."

I looked at Trevor, my brother. "Don't let me go there," I begged.

"Is there any chance i could be able to adopt her?" Cooper asked.

"Yes, paperwork can be filled out, it might take a couple of months to be officiated and she will be put into a foster home until then."

"It that okay with you, y/n?"

"Whatever it takes to get me home."

two months later

I get released today from my foster home. It wasn't that bad. The kids didn't seem to like me because I was only there for a couple months.

The car to take me away pulled up in front of the house. I immediately dashed out with no goodbyes. I was soon on my way to freedom.
