Note: This is the beginning of the rush. No, the other chapters before this was not a rush... if that's what you thought.
~The next day~
My dad walked into my room, and started shaking me. I was already half awake, but I was planning to fall back asleep. "Wake up, sleepy head," he said. "What time is it?" I asked. I rolled onto my other side to look at my dad. "It's almost twelve o'clock," he answered. I grabbed my phone to double check. "It's only eleven," I said. "I said almost," he reminded. "It's not even eleven thirty yet!" I said. "Don't you know? We parents round our time," he replied. "But it's not even close to rounding to the nearest hour," I said. "Just get up," he shook me again. I resisted the few times he tried to get me up, but then I sat up. "Okay, okay, I'm up," I scratched the back of my head. "Good, get dressed. I'm bringing you to a restaurant," he said. "We're going to a restaurant for what purpose?" I asked. "For breakfast of course!" he answered. "Isn't it more like brunch?" I asked. "I consider it breakfast until it's two o'clock," he answered. "Alright, I'll get changed," I said. I pushed him out of my room and started getting ready. When I was done, I started heading downstairs. As I was approaching the last steps, I heard my dad shouting. I took the last step down and looked around the corner. He was on the phone, and he didn't seem the least bit of happy. "Listen Jeong-Hui, how many times do I have to tell you that I don't want you anywhere near my daughter?" he asked. There was a pause so he could listen to the response. Who would have guessed that he was shouting at Jeong-Hui? I mean, it seems like he's the only companion that he yells at. "What do you mean you'll do nothing? You'll use your pretty little face to ruin my time with my daughter. And no, I don't mean making her fall for your looks. You'll attract attention," he shouted. "No, I'm not gay. I'll never be gay for you, and it's Mr. Y/L/N to you!" he exclaimed. Another pause, longer than the last one. "I'm ending this call. Don't annoy me unless it something important," he said. "This is not important!" he shouted. Then I walked over to him. "Jeong-Hui?" I asked, and he nodded.
"That kid never leaves me alone. He's always following me like some type of dog," my dad shook his head in utter disappointment. "I don't even know how he keeps up. He seems so worried about the world that revolves around him," he sighed. "Anyways, let's ignore that moron and let's go," he motioned me. I followed behind him. He lead me to his car. Then he got in, and I copied. Then he started driving. When we got there, we went inside. We ordered our food before sitting down. It was going to take some time because the place was awfully cowarded. "I heard this place serves the best type of food here," he said. "Really, it's quite cowarded here," I replied. "Apparently it's normally like this," he informed. "Wow, I wonder how they keep up with this many people. They must not have any employee shortage," I said. "It seems that way," he agreed. We talked for some time. After a few minutes or so, our number was called. When I was walking back with the food, someone stopped me. "Oh my gosh, it really is you!" he seemed really excited to see me. "Hi, thank you for supporting Hoseok and making him happy. You're the only one who can make him the way he is!" he bowed. I was shocked. "Lift your head up," I said. He did as told. "It's seems like you're a loyal and kind fan of Hoseok. I'm happy to see that," I smiled. "Plus, I'll do things only for him. It's been my slogan since college," I giggled. He thanked me some more before walking away. I went to my dad and sat down. "Do you know him?" he asked. I shook my head, "Just a fan." "A fan? I never knew you were that famous," he said. "Oh no, I'm not famous. My boyfriend is," I explained. "Oh, is he as famous as your old man?" he asked, jokingly. "I don't know, how famous are you?" I asked. He was so offended when Jeong-Hui and I called him an old man, but now he's using it without a problem. (My point exactly)
~After a while~
We spend most of our late morning talking, but then my dad suddenly got a call. When he grabbed his phone, he didn't seem the slightest bit of happy. "Is it Jeong-Hui?" I asked. "Yeah, I'll answer him later," he pushed his phone aside. "What if it's something important?" I asked. "It probably isn't that important. He probably wants to beg me to let him join us," he said. The call past, and then another call went off. My dad looked at it, and gave the same unpleasant face. "It's him again. It seems important enough for him to call you again. Go and answer it," I grabbed his phone and handed it to him. I motioned him, and he gave me an unsure expression, but he left afterwards. After a while, he returned with another unhappy face. "I'm being called into work for a meeting. I'll drive you back," he said. I nodded, and got up. Then he drove home. "Sorry about this. I was sure I asked for a day off, but a meeting is a meeting," he apologized. "It's okay," I smiled before going inside. I decided to call Hoseok but he didn't pick up, so I spent my day working.
~Time: 11:00 P.M.~
I was watching YouTube when I suddenly got a call. Hoseok was calling me, and I was quick to answer. "Hello?" I answered. "Hey, sorry for not picking up your call. I was busy," he apologized. "It's fine," I said. "So why'd you call?" he asked. "I wanted to kill off some time," I answered. "Well, do you still need to kill off some time?" he asked. "Yeah, I do," I smiled. We talked for some time before I heard the door open. "I need to go, my dad's home," I said. "Okay, call me tomorrow. I promise I'll answer next time," he replied. "Okay," I giggled. "Bye, I love you," he said. I blushed, "I love you too..." When the call needed, I went to my dad. "Sorry about that, I went to go to the meeting and I thought I could leave afterwards. But in the end, I was told to do some more work," he sighed. "It's fine, did you eat anything yet?" I asked. "No, I'm hungry," he patted his stomach. "I'll make you dinner then," I smiled. "Thank you, you're the best," he smiled back.
I hoped you enjoyed!
