After that embarrassing dare last night, we all decided to go to sleep. I ended up staying in Trey's room with
Kaitlin and Lily. Trey slept downstairs on the couch, so did Josh. I woke up to the bright light shining through
the window. I rolled over but I was already awake and couldn't go back to sleep. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I
didn't know whether or not to wake Kaitlin and Lily, but we're going to be really good friends so I should just
start now.
"Hey you guys, wake up." I whispered at first. "Come on. Wake up." I shoved them.
"Stop it." They moaned and rolled over.
I didn't want to do this. "WAKE UP NOW DAMMIT! OR I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL KILL YOU." Okay maybe that was a
little too harsh, but I want them to wake up.
"Okay! God dang woman." Kaitlin sat up and rolled her eyes.
"What do you want?" Lily asked.
"I didn't want to be the only one awake," I smiled sheepishly.
"Really?" They sighed.
"Really." I replied.
"Fine, let's go make breakfast or something." Lily said.
"Yeah! I'm starving." I rubbed my stomach.
We ran down the stairs and searched the kitchen for anything edible. "Why don't we make eggs and pancakes?" Lily asked.
"Sure! Do you know how?" I asked. "No, but it's time to learn." She winked.
"Crap!" The pancakes were burning.
"Flip them! Flip them!" I shouted. Kaitlin ran over and pushed Lily out of the way and flipped the pancakes.
"Oh thank god." I breathed.
"Sorry?" Kaitlin said.
"It's okay. Go make some toast or something. We need to hurry before the boys wake up."
"Okay."
"What's going on?" Trey walked in.
"Oh nothing much, just trying to burn the house down." Kaitlin joked.
"What?" Trey asked.
"Nothing," Lily said really slowly. I laughed, "Hey, you wanna help?"
"Nah, I'll sit back and watch." Trey smiled and sat down at the kitchen table.
"Suit yourself." I sighed.
About 10 minutes later we finished making breakfast. "All done!" Lily cheered. "Finally!" I smiled.
We set all the plates on the table. "I'll go wake Josh." I said.
I ran into the living room over to where Josh was. "Josh, wake up." I shook him lightly. He looked so peaceful! I leaned in
closer and watched him sleep. I feel like a creeper. I sighed, I wish things were as simple as a fairy tale, but they're not. I wish
he would just like me back! Oh well... Josh's eyes opened. Shit! "Uh, hey Josh. Wake up. We made breakfast." I scurried out of
the room and sat at the table. That was just sad.
"Okay guys, dig in." I grabbed a burnt pancake and a piece of toast. Josh walked into the room and I avoided eye contact with
him. He sat down at the table and started eating.
"What time are we going home?" I asked.
"Don't know." Josh replied. "Do you guys have to leave?" Lily asked Josh.
"We could hang out today." Trey suggested.
Josh pulled out his phone and checked the time, "Sure."
I sighed, I just want to go home. We washed the dishes and set them out to dry. "Alright, what do you wanna do now?"
Kaitlin asked.
"I don't know." Lily replied.
"Don't forget I'm rich. We could do almost anything." Trey smiled.
"I don't want to do anything big. Let's just go swimming." I said.
"Swimming?" Trey asked. "Sounds good to me."
"Swimming it is." Josh smiled. I'll get to see Josh shirtless.
"Let's go to my house. Jessica here needs a bathing suit." Lily smiled.
"Or she can go skinny dipping." Trey suggested.
I laughed, "In your pervy little dreams."
"Come on let's go." Kaitlin said.
We drove over to Lily's house, which wasn't that far away. She apparently is also rich. Her house was beautiful. "Oh my god I
love your house!"
"Thanks."
We walked inside and was greeted by a butler, "Hello miss."
"Morning James."
We walked up a flight of stairs to Lily's room. I was amazed. She's like a princess! Her room was like the size of my house.
"Here try this on." Lily threw me the cutest bikini ever! It was pink and white with polka dots on them and ruffles.
I ran to her closet and tried it on. I stepped out. "Oh my god you have to wear that, it's adorable!" Kaitlin smiled. They already
had their bathing suits on "Are you sure you don't mind?" I asked Lily.
"Of course not! We're best friends now!" Lily cheered. I ran over and gave her a hug. "Since we're best friends, it's time to
talk."
"Talk?" I asked.
"Oh yeah, talk." Kaitlin replied.
"So who do you like?" Lily asked.
I looked down and blushed, "No one."
"Sure, well I like Josh! He is so cute!" Lily let out. I turned to look at her. "Can you guys help me get him to like me?"
"Of course!" Kaitlin smiled. Lily looked at me, "Huh? What? Oh um yeah, of course."
"Thank you so much you guys!" She pulled us into a hug.
"Well, I like Trey. But I know he'll never like me." Kaitlin shrugged.
"You don't know that!" Lily smiled.
"True, but still," Kaitlin sighed.
I stayed quiet. Lily likes Josh? Well I kinda already knew, but I just promised to help her out. Am I some fucking idiot? And
Kaitlin? She likes Trey? Damn. No I have no chance. With either of them! My life sucks. I'm in some serious shit.
